Awful shop , turned up with 3 boxes of books (( properly labled and under the 15kg on the forms ) but they refused them even though they were only 10kg .. got in touch with We Buy Books who said that the shop should have taken them ? will never go back or do my shopping in there .

So much clutter which makes it cramped inside, making it impossible to get through the shop with a pushchair. Always too many people inside for the space.

This place has gone downhill. Post Office only open half the time. Sometimes can?t sell alcohol after 5pm due to the age of staff. Since the old manager left just not the same. Looks like it could do with a deep clean. There is an unpleasant smell when you walk in. I know MColls as a company is going through a difficult time but there is no excuse. Use Londis up the road instead which is more expensive but clean.

Wonderful shop, very helpful friendly and happy staff, always on hand to help with anything, a truly lovely shop with post office that is open 7 days a week.

Shop assistant coughing everywhere watched me queue up with a big box to post with Royal Mail. Only when I got to the front did she tell me that she wouldn?t accept it as it was too big. Took it to another Post Office newsagents who took it no questions asked.

Really nice shop, I?ve met and dealt with all the staff there and they are all incredibly friendly and easy-going. Post office might not have all the services available, but it?s a great feature for the shop. Keep it up! Highly recommend.

About the most unhelpful sub post master I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. He really lets down both the post office and McColls. Avoid if you possibly can!
