Helpful friendly staff ? quality products and good service?

Sofa delivered several months ago with a obvious defect that should of never left the factory, couple of weeks later, and a day off work to suit them visit from there approved 3rd party inspector, they confirmed it is a defect requiring a new leather base and other parts, furniture village just leave you to deal with the 3rd party company, several months have now passed, each time we chase, holding email stating the parts have been ordered, no close out date, defected sofa, finance company still taking all the payments and ignoring all emails despite writing to them several times stating the issue and the sofa is rejected. Shame I couldn?t give 0 stars.

We came to look for a sofa and Steve who was the Sales Consultant, was very attentive and made us feel very welcomed by offering us refreshments. He ensured we picked the ideal sofa and offered us advice on other pieces of furniture which was helpful. I would recommend coming to this store as the staff are extremely friendly and proactive.

There were staff to hand at all times, which is great. I felt comfortable (not just because of the amazing quality of the furniture) because the staff were attentive, informative but allowed customers to operate at their own pace. I came in with a small dream and as I was sat ready to quit and head home, I was greeted by Steve and it changed everything. Steve was very informative and supported me throughout my remaining time in the store. He gave me the knowledge and then the time and space to explore and make informed decisions. Michael and Abbey were also great help. They were friendly, conversational and willing to listen and add where necessary.
At the end of my visit, I left in a great mood and still so excited to receive my new mattress and still pleasantly astonished by the great customer service I received and saw others receive in store.

So pleased with the experience we got when looking for a new TV Bed, Abbey was the most pleasant and knowable person we have come across when looking for furniture. she was a pleasure to deal with and will defiantly be back there if we need more items. thank you Abbey you are a credit to the store !!!

I decided this morning after years of deliberation to buy a new sofa, headed to Furniture Village in Orpington and within minutes of being in the store - Steve McKenzie casually asked me if I needed help. He was patient and kind and chatty and not overbearing or pushy. He gave me time and threw a few ideas in too, he listened to what i was asking for and i bought a sofa!!! it ended up being nothing like the one I went in for but Steve helped me get there, he made the whole experience a joy and fun - thank you Steve x

In fact although we were shopping with and for our daughter, my wife and I also purchased 2 Chesterfield sofas as well due to the excellent service.

Poor customer protection if buying in store. No cooling off period honored by this company. I tried to cancel an order made on Sunday at 15:16 and called within 48 hours, my request was declined. I understand that online regulations differ from in store purchases but would have hoped that a reputable company would treat their customers differently. Do not buy in store from Furniture Village

Went to the shop in the afternoon. At first, thought folks sitting on the sofas and browsing phones and talking to each other were customers. Shortly after realised all of them had name tags and they were in fact employees.. As far as I am aware you are not closing down, I just had an impression it was their final day at work.. one of the more expensive ones with the poorest customer service, not a great combination to have
