My daughter wanted to buy scarf for 2.49£ today but lady didn?t sell it!! She said i can?t sell it because wrong price? Then i saw LIBERTY company name on it and i straight away realised why she can?t sell it for £2.49?it was very expensive scarf.. Very greedy charity shop!!

Whilst visiting friends, my partner and I were sauntering through Orpington we walked into this shop. I have never had such a fun time searching amongst the shelves of this obviously well stocked shop.
Any other time we would be in and out in no time, but the music playing and as mentioned previously, the plethora of assorted items for sale certainly kept us there longer.
The shop manager was so polite and helpful, her smile was contagious and my partner even struck up a brief conversation. Its safe to say she (the manager, she introducedherself as AJ i believe) loves her job. We made a couple of small purchases (as we can only fit so much in our luggage).
Added note. The music was definitely toe tapping.

Wildly inconsistent prices for yarn. 1 week there are nice mixed bundle packs of real wool at about half retail price, the next week they have single balls of acrylic DK priced at 4.99 each- for single unmatched balls of acrylic. Bizarre

Store manager aggressive and unhelpful. Steer well clear of this place.

I walked in & picked out a bunch of 7? vinyl singles and asked how much they were, the woman behind the counter made a very passive aggressive comment towards me when I apologetically interrupted her conversation with another woman in the shop after I had waited by the counter for about 3 minutes already. she then told me they were 99p each to which I politely replied ?do you mind if I go back and just pick the best condition ones? and she made a really sarcastic comment saying something along the lines of? yeah your the one paying for it? (presumably irritated I hadn?t paid for them there & then) twisting it to make me look stupid and making the other woman laugh. I went back to the shelves and thought? actually no! I don?t wish to give my money to a shop that employ such rude staff, so I put all the items back and left the shop.
