Refreshing to have such lovely helpful people working on the floor, I spoke to multiple staff today whilst buying trainers and they were all so polite and happy to help. The store also has a great selection of trainers! I walked out with 4 pairs and a smile! Will definitely be my go to for my next shopping spree

I bought a pair of Polo shoes from Schuh on May 29th. After just a few days of normal wear, they developed cracks where the sole meets the leather upper ? a clear manufacturing fault.
I went to the store with my receipt, but the staff refused to assist or even provide a written explanation. This is a clear breach of my consumer rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles me to a refund or replacement within 30 days.
Very disappointing behaviour from a brand that claims to care about customers. I expected better.
Unless this is resolved quickly, I will escalate the issue to Citizens Advice and take further action.

Giving 4 starts because of the service they provide. A representative of shuh reach out to you to help you guide you to proper shoe size. Comparatively (JD, Sports . sports direct) its better in customer management.

Staff don't know their products. I asked if they had black trainers and they showed me on a wall mounted screen about 200 items definitely not black sneakers. What a joke. I went and bought from the shop opposite them, staff showed me multiple options.
They were polite and friendly, but zero knowledge on what they're selling.

I had a great experience shopping at Schuh recently when I came in to buy a pair of shoes as a gift. I was helped by Ayanna, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. She answered all my questions with patience and really made sure I found exactly what I was looking for. Her customer service was excellent and made the whole process so easy. Thank you, Ayanna, for making my shopping experience such a positive one!

The staff at Westfield Stratford are to be commended. They are very helpful and patient. I had a couple of vouchers to use and then there was a problem with my loyalty and they were so great with it. After trying to resolve the issues with the manager and it wasn't possible, they phoned customer services for me to see what had happened. I really appreciate all the help and kindness of the all the staff at this store. I'm so sorry that I didn't get the names of the people who helped me, but thank you so much to them.

This is horrible I bought some shoes that are 90 pounds and they didn't give it to me so i texted them and they say they did give it to me so I told them to show me atleast a picture and they keep saying they did give to me and they didn't even give me money back and if I Could I would give 100- stars.

Yesterday (11/1/25) I went into the Stratford Schuh store to find some new running trainers I have seen online. They are New Balance so first off I went into the New Balance store opposite and wow the customer service was awful but when I came into Schuh, I was greeted straight away by the lovely Kim.
Kim was so attentive, chatty, informative and really made time to make me feel comfortable and heard.
I was able to try on a different colour way of the shoes I originally wanted in the size I?d need but wasn?t keen on the colour so I did leave them. But! I was so chuffed with the customer service in there.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a recent experience I had at your store in Stratford ,I purchased a pair of leather shoes a few weeks ago, and after wearing them only a couple of times, they became damaged. As the shoes were still under warranty, I went to the store to discuss a possible exchange or return.
To my dismay, the store manager's behavior was nothing short of appalling. Upon inspecting the shoes, he not only sniffed them but claimed they "smelled too nice due to detergent, refusing to accept the return or exchange because he accused me to wash them in washing machine,he even did not bother to investigate that !This was incredibly unprofessional, especially considering leather cannot be washed in a machine. His knowledge of materials seemed lacking, and his tone was extremely rude.
Furthermore, I was asked to sniff the shoes myself because he claimed they smelled "too nice to be used." This request was not only inappropriate but deeply uncomfortable. Another staff member, who was equally rude, stated that the shoes were wet and refused to help further.
This experience was upsetting, not only because of the poor quality of the shoes but also due to the appalling customer service. My elderly mother, who was with me at the time, was also shocked by the staff's behavior. I believe it is unacceptable to treat paying customers with such disrespect, especially in a store where I have frequently made purchases.
Given the circumstances, I am requesting a formal review of this incident and appropriate action be taken. I strongly believe that the management and staff at this location would benefit from additional customer service training. I also request a resolution to my situation, either through a refund or exchange of the damaged shoes.

Went in to buy a pair of converse?s today and was served by a very friendly staff member called Gabby who had great customer service and made the experience smooth running. Much appreciated.
