I love the brand and shop a lot from River Island but I?ve had such a terrible experience today with the manager that I would not think of stepping foot in this store again. I was in the men?s section and this girl who was the manager behaved so rudely and unprofessionally with me. When I asked her name so I could leave a review, she outrightly told me she wouldn?t give it to me.
This is not something I expect from a brand which has such a good reputation, especially from a store manager. I?m spending my money in this store and I expect to be treated fairly. I would ask the management to consider training their staff on how to treat the customers.

I have terrible experience. At the store manager and other staff misbehaving with me when i went there for return and even they couldn?t to talk with me properly they put my item on desk and go away from there and they are not accepting my item return back.

I love River Island, but the service here was appalling. Super crazy long lines because the bored looking employees just looked like they didn?t care and went so slow. We were happy to finally get out and then it turns out they left a security tag on our clothes, so super slow but not super effective.

The cashier on the ground floor (young black lady) is extremely unpleasant and unprofessional her attitude stinks from 100 miles away!. However there's a lady on the shop floor with black curly hair, tall, slim, she was wearing a checkered brown blazer today, shes also a black lady. she is an amazing person...Very helpful and polite. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name ????

The short black coloured skin manager was so rude and also needs to have his eyes checked, he was saying the clothes I was returning had some dark marks on them where there was none, I showed the clothing to other staff and managers and they did not see anything at all which proved he was just lying, I also see a lot of negative comments about him in other reviews, just fire him you will be better off.

I recently visited the River Island store at Westfield Shopping Centre and had an unpleasant experience with both the billing staff and the manager. The staff displayed impatience and were noticeably unfriendly during the checkout process, while the manager was not helpful at all. Their unprofessional demeanor made the entire transaction uncomfortable. Because of the rude behavior of the store manager, I have decided to change the brand. As a frequent buyer of River Island, I will never shop at River Island again. I hope management addresses these issues, as it significantly impacted my shopping experience.

I recently visited the River Island store on Westfield Ave and was disappointed by the impolite behavior of the billing staff. Their lack of patience and unfriendly demeanor made the checkout process uncomfortable. I hope the management addresses this issue, as it negatively impacted my shopping experience.

Absolutely racist behaviour I have ever face in London as on 08/09/24 might the store manger and floor manager was so rude, they were not giving me their names, they asked me to get out of the store and being conservative over a rude staff who come to me and shouting at me telling me of me do you not know how to keep the stuff back at its place, while I?m the customer and I was short listing the items to purchase.
They floor manager was so racist when I ask call the store manger he refused and tell me that he is the store manger get out of the shop or I will call the Westfield security and he call the store security and being so rude and recording me without my permission.
This behaviour needs to be removed out is Westfield and this behaviour is unacceptable they asked me to leave my shopping and get out of the store councils needs to question this people I will take this to the above authorities for this behaviour.
I will never visit river island again I have just been to other stores and shopped I haven?t face this any where

They don't pick up the phone. I wanted to call them to ask about a product availability in order not to travel 2 hours unnecessary, but they didn't pick up. Please do better customer service.

Normally it's my brand for last 7 years. But unfortunately I had a very bad experience today. While I was waiting to pay the person who was working behind the till he was ignoring me and quite rude. I ask his name and asking to seek manager but none of them come forward. This store need to improve and train there staff about the customer service.Very upsetting..
