Rudest staff i have ever encountered.

This is unacceptable! There are at least 40 of us waiting in line and only two registers open. What?s the point of having so many checkout counters if you?re only going to keep two of them running? This is getting ridiculous! 28/08 at 7PM !!

Disrespectful and unobliging staff!
I went to Primark London Westfield Stratford! Was looking for an item. Staff carelessly replied and implied to find it out myself. They ostensibly showed they were busy , only chitchatting & walking the floors.
Found it rude!

very disappointed with the service I received at the Primark Stratford branch yesterday. I went to exchange an item and was served at till 3 by a staff member named Fatema, who was extremely rude and unprofessional towards me. As a customer, I did not expect to be treated in such a disrespectful manner. Its not the first time, i keep quit but last day it crossed limits. The tills staff behave very rudely like they dont have any communication manner. I raised this issue with a team manager, but I am unsure whether any action will be taken. This experience has left me feeling very let down by Primark, as I expect basic courtesy and respect when shopping.

rude horrible incompetent staff on the bottom floor - there was a blonde manager at the tills and she was incredibly rude and straight up refused to help me.
I then went upstairs to the underwear section and the manager there (I think his name was Zafar?) was able to assist me and was so kind. He should get a raise and that blonde woman should get fired!!!

To Primark Management,
I have been a loyal customer of Primark since around 2011/2012. From my high school days through college, university, and up to today, Primark has been a consistent part of my life. I?ve always loved shopping here ? not only for the great selection and prices but also because of the welcoming atmosphere created by the staff and management.
However, I?ve noticed a decline in service standards starting in 2024, and unfortunately, my recent experience on Saturday, 26th July 2025, at your store, was deeply upsetting.
While paying at the self-service tills in the beauty section, I encountered an extremely unpleasant and distressing situation. A staff member named Yemna (of Indian descent), was rude, aggressive, and confrontational in a way I?ve never experienced ? not in this store, nor anywhere else in the UK or abroad. Her tone, attitude, and body language were unnecessarily hostile and made me feel deeply uncomfortable.
It was not just unprofessional ? it was bordering on discriminatory and racially motivated behaviour. Her aggressiveness seemed targeted and deliberate, and I?m concerned this may not be an isolated incident. The confidence and audacity with which she acted suggest this may be a recurring pattern that has gone unchecked.
After the incident, I waited 10 to 15 minutes for a manager or supervisor to address the issue, but no one was present on the shop floor to assist ? which only added to the frustration. Unfortunately, I?ve also observed that many other staff members (primarily of Indian background) in this area show a lack of basic customer service, including ignoring polite requests for help or questions about store facilities like whether the elevators are working. There seems to be a growing culture of indifference, which is especially concerning when you consider how vulnerable customers ? such as the elderly or those with limited English ? might be treated under these circumstances.
If this is how assertive customers are treated, I fear for how less confident or more vulnerable customers might be spoken to or ignored.
This experience was more than disappointing ? it was troubling. Primark is a public-facing brand, and staff like Yemna, who behave aggressively and inappropriately, are a risk to your reputation and a threat to the safety and dignity of your customers.
I urge Primark?s management to investigate this matter seriously. Your self-service areas are covered by security cameras, and I am confident that the footage from that day will reflect the unacceptable behavior I?ve described. I hope you take the necessary steps to ensure accountability and to prevent this kind of experience from happening to others in the future.

I?m visiting from Canada and every time I?m in London, I make a point to shop at Primark because of the great prices and wide variety of products. I genuinely enjoy browsing through the store, taking my time to look at everything, they often have a great selection. However, at Primark Stratford, I?ve consistently had an extremely negative and hostile shopping experience. Every time I visit this location, I feel heavily surveilled. I operate an international business with operations in Dubai, London, Canada, and the US, and I?ve never experienced the level of discomfort I feel when shopping here. It?s not just subtle observation; each time I go in I am actively followed and monitored by both security and store associates throughout my visit. I dress normal In business casual sometimes corporate attire. This is not paranoia. It has happened repeatedly, and it?s deeply uncomfortable. The customer service at this location is also noticeably poor and unfriendly. I understand the need for security and loss prevention, but the way it is carried out here crosses a line into something that comes across as very targeted and inappropriate.
I don?t know if I?m being singled out because I may appear to be from out of the country, but it is upsetting and disappointing to be treated this way as a paying customer. I continue to shop at Primark because I appreciate the products and value, but the treatment I receive at the Stratford location is unacceptable. It needs to be addressed. No one should feel that level of discomfort while simply shopping. I will not go back to the Stratford location try and find another location to visit because it?s just such a disgusting experience that I consistently have Stratford.

I visited the Primark store at Westfield Stratford at 08/04/2025, and I have to say, it was an incredibly frustrating experience. The management at this location seems to have little regard for customer service. It was evident that they had no plan in place to manage the long queues. Only a few tills were open, and despite the growing line of customers, it seemed like no effort was made to speed things. The staff working there were incredibly slow, and it was clear they weren?t motivated to work efficiently. Instead of focusing on serving customers, they were more interested in chatting with each other about non-work-related topics, which only made the situation worse. It was disappointing to see such a lack of urgency and professionalism in such a busy shop. It always happens in Westfield Stratford, other Primark shops seems to be more customers friendly.

I went into primark today, with a little hair emergency, the one in Westfield Stratford city, to my surprise I met and was served by a lovely women named heather and I never would?ve found what I needed without her. Normally primark is very fast paced and you never get to actually have a conversation with the staff but today I was so glad heather was there, she was polite, patient and the best staff member I have ever met at a primark. Thank you so much heather, I hope you have a lovely rest of your day and to see you again :)

I had a wonderful experience at Primark, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Angela Gittings at the checkout. She was incredibly friendly, efficient, and professional, making the checkout process smooth and pleasant. Despite the busy atmosphere, she greeted me with a warm smile and ensured everything was handled quickly and accurately.
It?s always a pleasure to be served by someone who genuinely cares about customers. Angela?s kindness and positive attitude made my shopping trip even better. Primark is lucky to have such a dedicated and hardworking team member!
Thank you, Angela, for your outstanding service!

I wanted to buy a black jeans but there was a no one to help me. When I rescheduled out to one employee he told he he doesn?t work in that senction and there will be another lady named Rachel who can help . When I asked if he can help me call her to the section he just said sorry and walked away . I was really unhappy with the result therefore I just took what I had in my hand and paid the money and walked off .
