I hired a suit from Moss on 7th September but later needed to cancel. I hadn?t even collected the suit yet, and my event isn?t until this weekend with return on the 23rd September. When I asked about a refund (on the 13th September), I was told I couldn?t have one because I was within 14 days of the event.
This policy was never made clear to me when booking, and I feel it?s very unfair. I expected more flexibility and transparency, especially since the suit hadn?t been picked up. Instead, I?ve been left out of pocket with nothing to show for it.
To be clear, the staff member I dealt with in store was very helpful and polite, my frustration is with the company?s rigid policy, not the service I received in person.
I've always had a good experience with Moss Bros but this was very disappointing.

I had such a great experience at Moss Stratford thanks to Hibaq. I needed a suit last minute and she made the whole process so easy and stress-free. She really understood my budget and still helped me find the perfect suit for me. Her advice was spot on and she kept it fun and enjoyable the whole time. I left feeling really confident and happy with my choice. Highly recommend asking for Hibaq if you?re shopping here!

We recently visited this store and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.
When we needed assistance, one of the staff members did help us, but in a very rushed manner, he barely listened to our request before walking away to other customers. At the same time, we noticed two female staff members (a blonde and a brunette with heavy makeup) standing around chatting and laughing with each other, not assisting any customers. It would have been much better if he would ask them to help, so we could receive proper attention.
When we tried to try on shirts, we were told that we could not try on new ones and instead had to use shirts that were already unpacked and hanging. Unfortunately, every single shirt we were given had a very strong and unpleasant odor of sweat, which made it extremely uncomfortable to try them on. When we mentioned this to the staff, they simply replied that ?other customers try them on,? without offering any solution or even the option to open a fresh shirt for us.
The whole situation left us with a very negative impression. We expected better customer service and more basic hygiene standards from a store like this.

Unfortunately picked the wrong sized suit in a rush, came back a week later and a young man on the shop floor called Jack helped me. He was incredibly helpful and understanding. He helped me pick a suit that fitted and looked great. He listened to all my likes and don?t likes, came away extremely happy.
Would recommend this moss bros store, specially Jack on the shop floor.

Horrible customer service from the manager, went to buy trousers yesterday and try some shirts on... He showed attitude and wouldn't even help find trial shirts, just told me to go look for them myself... The next day I wanted to return trousers as I found better fit elsewhere, after waiting for few minutes while he served another customer, he comes go the counter and tells me to wait for another 20 minutes... Completing return elsewhere, it's a simple process, no reasons to be that difficult!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Moss. We purchased a brand new shirt from them for my wedding, only to realise the day before that they had given us the wrong one. This was their mistake, yet when we went back to exchange it, they refused to swap it.
To make matters worse, the manager was unbelievably rude and dismissive, showing no empathy at all for the stress this caused on such an important occasion. For a company that claims to specialise in formalwear and weddings, their customer service was shockingly poor.
We trusted Moss with something so important, and they completely let us down. I would not recommend them to anyone, especially for events as significant as a wedding.

Sadly a complete waste of time. Went in today for a standard black suit properly sized. Granted a little late in the day but unfortunately they appeared to have no idea what they were doing. After being bought the wrong pair of trousers (with a different price to the one already passed over) for the third time I?ve decided it?s probably easier to shop online.

GOSH! Went in today to buy a suit last-minute for a wedding, as one does. went to the manager for assistance as I had no clue as to what size to buy. He told me to walk myself to the back end of the shop, where he said he would come to my assistance. I waited, and waited, and to my shock, I saw the manager walking carefree. Disappointing, invested in better customer service with a competitor.

I can?t recall the last time I?ve had great customer service while shopping, but Hibaq?s help was nothing short of exceptional.
She ran up and down the stairs to find a suit in my husbands size, checked he was happy with the fitting, found alternatives and even found him a shirt from upstairs when there weren?t any on the shop floor.
Her customer service skills are second to none and should be recognised!

I highly recommend buying from this place. The workers were all kind and lovely, especially Hibaq, who managed to serve me. She is genuinely a respectful and helpful worker and individual who managed to make sure I was treated well at Moss Bros! Shout out to Hibaq!
