Bought a last minute birthday gift for as friend. Found exactly the right gift and got it gift wrapped. The gift wrap service was officially just closed for the day but they kindly fitted me in. Very happy with the whole experience

On August 23, 2025, I walked into the shop, eager to browse and perhaps make a purchase. As I was exploring the aisles, a staff member called out to me from across the store, abruptly announcing that they were closing in just one minute. The tone of his voice struck me as rather abrupt and lacking in warmth, which was surprising given my previous experiences there. I felt that a more thoughtful and respectful approach to communicating such information would greatly improve the atmosphere and overall shopping experience for customers. I appreciate your attention to this feedback, as it could contribute to creating a more welcoming environment in the future. Thank you for considering my thoughts.

Lovely, big, tidy department store. Lots of staff to help. Lots of testers with the cosmetics and perfumes which I love. Great variety also.

Overpriced. The tag price for a leather jacket was £369, but I was charged £399.
After launching a complaint they refused to help but offered a £10.00 compensation.

My first visit to a John Lewis store turned out to be productive , as I got a new phone .
Great to see the variety and range of different products. Amina (hopefully spelling it right) was amazing and efficient, really good people skills displayed throughout my purchase .

Extremely poor service would never buy anything again you get told one thing by head office and another thing in the physical shop. If I could give 0 stars I would. The workers are passive aggressive, not helpful and sarcastic. Never been so disappointed. That?s how you lose your customers.

I like John Lewis as the products are great. Value for money if you dont want to keep buying cheap goods that don't work properly. Polite customer service, you can also get your cash for holidays in there stores. Staff explain how to use the modern technology. Latest bluetooth accessaries available in the store.

We had a great experience at the Kids Nursery section in John Lewis Westfield, thanks to Alison?s outstanding support. She gave us clear, detailed demonstrations of various pushchairs and car seats, and patiently answered all our questions with professionalism and expertise.
Alison also helped us register for the free nursery advice session, which was a helpful extra. Her knowledge and friendly manner made the process smooth and reassuring. We truly appreciated her time and assistance ? thank you, Alison!

Nida was an amazing and enthusiastic sales lady who went above and beyond in assisting me in picking out a gucci perfume, she also included a free gift which was a jewellery box and other perfume samples. Definitely the best store in Westfield Stratford and a lot more peaceful and less cramped compared to other stores.

Like marks and Spencer all extremely tidy and well presented in every respect, reasonable prices, staff hard to find these days on the floor, so you must go to check out !!! Coffee restaurant calm and air conditioning...plenty of seating..Staff polite kind and friendly

1 star for a buffoon of a man, I came in to pick up some trousers at the collect point, I asked for a bag and automatically he said you can't get a bag , and he said you can't get anything for free, emm excuse me, I said all I want is to buy a bag to put my trousers in, he kept saying the same thing many time you can't get anything free, I told him very slowing i want to buy a bag, I then said im not in here to get anything free, do I look like im in here to get anything free I paid for my trousers and a camrea, why do you keep saying the words free, just give me a bag for my trousers, I mean iv spent £100 at john lewis, this guys taking the ???? at me, in the end, he can not sell me a bag because he use the machine, then just give me a bag then, NO he said you have to go and qeue up to get a bag, I just looked at him took his picture and walked away, I don't normally take people's picture like this but pure rude and ignorance, and being a complet buffoon to customers who are keeping people like him in a job is unexceptable.
Second visit not sny better manager told me to go to the till, people at the till rude and unhelpful telling me that can't help, me telling them manager sent me over, manager tells them to help me they don't help someone else helps me, unhelpful and rude women Emma trys arguing with me its pretty ridiculous of the staff, is this would we are left with in these big stores just people with no common sense and rude and unhelpful workers, is this really what they get paid to do be rude to customers and not want to help, manager came over didn't know what to say or do about his staff, place is a joke
