Time (and money) well spent at Costa coffee in Stratford. Two young ladies at the service desk were friendly and my order prep was swift and well presented. Will very likely pay a visit again in the future. ?

Visited this afternoon at 4pm with the family. Walked in and was hit by an unbearable heat. It would have been like eating in a sauna. Walked around the shop and it was this temperature everywhere. We immediately left and went to the cafe at John Lewis which was nicely air conditioned.
You may think it's acceptable for your staff to work in these conditions but paying customers are unlikely to visit.
Never again.

It is in a very good place, in Westfield it was very clean lovely breakfast. This Costa is so cute, so big, so beautiful, so much seating inside, so clean. Their food is very good and delicious and I love their chai latte so much I take it all the time. They also have drinks

My first time here and the woman with the glasses was rude to me and she stold me " not to get involved "
They didn't get someone's order right and I told them that the customer wasn't being rude.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Narcisa, in particular, was very good at her job and creative. She made me the cutest cup of coffee I ever had. I always loved Costa and had probably around 5000 coffees in 10 years, never seen one so original. Wonderful and refreshing.

Paid more for a small then a medium ?

Sadly my review is about staff members bullying and humiliating a much younger staff member publicly whilst she was serving customers at the ground floor branch inside Westfield Stratford. It was upsetting to witness. An older lady with a long grey plait very publicly berated a young member of staff in front of a big queue of customers for not having a loud enough voice (although I could hear her very well). She loudly criticised the way the girl was serving and then told her she couldn?t stay on the till. The tirade went on for some time. The girl was visibly upset but managed to carry on serving in a friendly and efficient manner until being swapped out. After finishing my coffee I asked to see the manager, fully expecting it to be the ?plait? lady. The lady I asked told me it was herself. She had been behind the counter when the incident happened and had done nothing. She made excuses saying the girl didn?t listen and kept making mistakes. I suggested this was not the way to improve the performance of a young staff member. She continued making excuses so I pointed out that the way the girl was being treated amounted to bullying and she as the manager was colluding in it by not taking action. Im not sure my complaint will make any difference but maybe if anyone else witnesses this behaviour they will call it out too. Maybe things will change at the branch.

Fast service, poor execution on drinks.
Ordered a mango and passion fruit cooler came out as a mango and passion on ice, wasn't blended at all.
This is poor as I used to work for Costa and this isn't how it should come out.
Other than that it was decent.

Rude service. We are visiting from another continent and I ordered large coffee. I initially wanted for dine in but change my mind while the barista is in the process of making my drink. She was a bit mad and upset as if customers aren't allowed to change their minds. I was just thinking I would need to take the coffee with me because I may not be able to finish it before my departure for another country. "That is why she (the cashier) asked you," she replied. I said, "so customers are not allowed to change their minds and that you will just be rude to them?" Certainly a bad experience and would not recommend as they are no match to Starbucks' customer service.
