Literally the worst customer service experience ever, traumatically bad. Visited the store early one morning, the store was not busy, In the queue, just one other customer who was being served before me and the store's security guard, who seemed to stay close to my person while I was shopping, hawk like. Anyways, while checking out at the till, in an attempt at up-selling, the cashier "Jyothirmai" prompted me to purchase more items. Come to later find out that she had overcharged me. Looking back she was reluctant to give me a copy of the receipt that morning too. So much so, that her whole demeanour changed and I was left to pack my own groceries alone (unusual at Holland & Barrett from my previous experiences there), as soon as I answered "yes please" to her asking me if i wanted a copy of the receipt.I have frequently shopped at Holland & Barrett, at various branches including that one and cannot remember previously being asked that question, I've even previously had one kind cashier at another branch take the time to go through how much reward points I had accumulated, as shown on the receipt. So, though I thought it odd, especially as I do not remember her asking the customer she had just served in the queue before me that question, I agreed to having a copy of the receipt. Packed my groceries, politely thanked her and went on with my day, I didn't think too much of it for the rest of the day.Later on that evening, my intuition told me to check the receipt, come to find, the cashier had overcharged me, even scanned items that i had not purchased.First thing the next day, i traveled all the way back to the store to get a refund. I was met by another cashier who went and got his manager "Christina". I explained again what had happened, to Christina this time, she said it was company policy to always ask if you want a receipt, when i tried to explain to her that the shop assistant's demeanour had also changed when i asked for the receipt, Christina then shockingly went on to say that she has had complaints from her staff every time I've visited the store. An utterly barefaced lie, I've never ever seen her before and I've never, not even once had any sort of issues with any of the shop assistants there up until that point. Previously, another member of staff at that very branch even asked me to fill out an online survey and write a review about her service, as i had commended her on it in store, I completed the survey and wrote her a favourable review.Christina then said I was barred from going back to the store. It's also worth mentioning that i am a Black person, I was having a "Karen" moment from the lying, conniving Christina who tried to maliciously make it seem as though i was irrational and a trouble maker, in front of all the other customers in store. Disgruntled and bemused at what I had just experienced, I left the store immediately after finally getting my refund, Christina screamed in my direction as i walked out of the store.I've already logged a complaint over the phone to a very pleasant customer service rep. Awaiting Holland and Barrett's customer service team response but thought it also best to write this review for any other person, customers and even staff members at the store that god forbid, should ever have the great misfortune of coming into contact with store manager Christina and shop assistant Jyothirmai and have them try to lie on them after overcharging them.

I was thrilled with the ambience and the cleanliness of the store. The staff are courteous and ready to help. The whole environment is welcoming. The prices are equally pocket friendly. It is a rare combination of pharmaceuticals and edible foods. You can come in and order, and you can equally order online using their app.

Possibly the most incompotent cashier I've had the misfortune of dealing with, worst costumer experience. Tried to upsell me then overcharged me and didnt process refund correctly.

Very calm environment and helpful staff. A special thank you to the lady that attended me Ms. Priya for her professionalism and support to help me to find the VitaminsI was looking for. I enjoyed looking around and discover what products and discounts they have at the Shop.Good location.

Ordered something online for next day click and collect. 2 days later the parcel hasnt arrived. I would have ordered from Amazon if i knew they are time wasters. Never ordering again

Used to be a nice shopping here, today not so much!Today I saw a lady be shouted at and followed to the door as she as leaving the shop with her bag open. According to a member of staff, this is suspicious behaviour and the customer should be understanding, never mind a shop full of people looking at you, staff shouting like your a thieve when you did nothing wrong.The lady left then it was my turn, I guess it might have been suspicious the way I was looking at the products In the shelve because another member of staff felt the need to observe me closely but not say a word nor offer help, just quietly observing my suspicious behaviour. Finally when another member of staff addressed me was to say ?we close in 10 minutes?, completely unnecessary, I knew that perfectly well, in fact I left the shop at 9minutes to and only looked back to take this lovely picture that shows the shop was closed at 3minutes to and there was no need, absolutely no for that breve interaction.

Some staff let the team and brand down on a serious level, should be able to put minus stars. Unfortunately there is a staff that should not be working as a sales associate, training ASAP or save your money and get rid.

Bought a box of protein from here that was off and so I brought it back for a return. The staff who attended to me was great. She was actually in the aisles and when she noticed that customers were heading to the till she made her way there and began assisting. She dealt with my return so efficiently. She was a star with pink hair
