I stayed the night before my appointment at the US Embassy the following day. I'll split this review between the pub and the hotel room experience respectively to be as comprehensive as possible.The Pub:There's a charming aesthetic to the interior design with the flower vibe going on. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed the food, I'd recommend the Good Girl with Hash Browns for breakfast! In addition to all of the above, the music played is also good to boot.The Room:Admittedly, the room did feel a little cramped, but that just might be due to my Non-Londonian sensibilities. The room was very aesthetically pleasing, much like the pub, and was very cleanly which is always appreciated. Overall, great value for money and you can't complain about that breakfast being inclusive!Nearby activities: Some walking distance activities: US Embassy, The Oval, Kennington Park, London Eye, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace.

Good location, all the main sights were within walking distance. There's also a supermarket close by which is a nice extra. The pub has a nice atmosphere, our room was small but tidy with clean bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety to choose from. Only downside: Towards the weekend the noise of people enjoying the pub and the smell of cigarettes coming from downstairs can be quite unpleasant.

Very delicious traditional fish and chips, young handsome chefs, know how to cook fabulous fish. Lovely ambience and beautiful decorative interior, very friendly and pleasant waitress.

We stayed overnight,my granddaughter had to go too the American embassy,nice and clean ,staff friendly,about 10 mins walk to embassy,,only thing I would recommend we were advised to get tube to vauxhall tube station,it was bout 20 mins walk ,,but ,we found it was closer go to nine elm's tube station that's only bout 10 mins walk and it's straight on northern line to get straight to Euston station,,alot less walking,,would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend

Lovely pub with great atmosphere and an amazing setting to watch sports. Food is delicious and staff are nice.

Yes, very centrally located hotel for exploring London. (15 minute walk from the London Eye.)Small, cozy rooms. Nice, authentic bae. Delicious English breakfast.

It's a boutique hotel, the ground floor is a bar, so there are different faces every evening. The rooms are small. The bathroom and toilet are clean. Daily room cleaning is done. For breakfast, you either choose from the menu or use the open buffet (croissant, raisin puff pastry, fruit juice, toast, jam, banana, grapes, packaged yoghurt). The employees were caring and friendly. The best part of the hotel is its location. There are buses and metro nearby, we could go everywhere in 15-20 minutes without getting tired. The buses come very frequently anyway, and the metro comes almost one after the other without any waiting. (We bought a card that gives unlimited rides for 7 days for 47 pounds per person). You can reach the most famous places such as the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, National Museum, British Museum... in 15 minutes.

Nice South London pub with rooms.Lots of stairs and no lift.Room small , bed huge. Big well equipped en - suite.Breakfast was cold on first day but excellent on second.Staff very helpful and friendly although we did ask for a second bed side light but didn't get it.

Lovely little hotel. Rooms very small, but it is London, and to be honest, I have paid a lot more and got a lot less so I would be happy to return. Breakfast was good. Would recommend.
