Waitrose New Malden offers a consistently strong supermarket experience in terms of quality, selection, and service. The store is well-maintained, counters are well-stocked, and the shopping experience feels calm and refined. Prices are higher than discount alternatives, and occasionally produce quality dips, but the overall ambience, fresh offerings, and helpful staff elevate the visit.
A standout memory was encountering David, a staff member who turned a routine trip into a genuinely pleasant interaction. His attentiveness and kindness?such as offering help with bags or checking in at counters?are the kind of personal touches that make Waitrose feel special.

The staff were rude and unhelpful. I cannot see any old faces which were kind and helpful. All new staff look like they don't want to do any work whatsoever. Been a long customer ever since and the standard have dropped ever since they got rid off old staff. Never going back
