Absolutely ridiculous that on a Saturday more tills were closed than open!!! How outrageous! Last time I visit this store and I have come here for more than 10 years. Management need to start appreciating their customers more. Practically no staff to help when you need it!!!!!!

Large Tesco Extra in New Malden. The store has a large car park and petrol station, is nicely located next to the A3 and one of my favourite stops into South west London.

I think Tesco should really provide better training for your staff on customer service. Too many employees here are rude and lack even the most basic manners ?not even a simple ?please.?
The overall attitude towards customers is unacceptable, and it leaves a very poor impression.

This Tesco (Extra) has CHANGED ITS PARKING RULES RECENTLY, from July 2025, see the first and last pictures for details.
Shopping regularly at this supermarket for years and so used to it three hours parking rule. It?s almost impossible to notice the new parking policy without a very clear sign of reminders. And as of August 15th, the sign at the entrance showing a maximum of three hours parking is still there (3rd pic), confusing customers.
My most recent nighttime bulk shopping trip was on 08/07/2025 between 22:15-23:38. Upon returning home from summer vacation, a parking charge letter shocked me.
After visiting the customer service desk twice, spoke with several staff, one of whom told me that they will help me to cancel the charge.
One of the staff has mentioned that the signs of the new parking policy were not changed until 20th/21st of July. It?s means the parking management company sent out charge letters before changing signs. Such a shame.
My personal opinion, the new parking policy is very strange, unreasonable and unwise. For those customers who need to do bulk shopping at night, the one hour limit will make them in much hurry and simply not enough, will be scared away.

Always plenty to see, however some of the staff appear unfriendly even if at the self till and you need support they can come without a smile and not a word spoken.

Only one till open. Have tons of shopping and the queue is massive. Mainly with people with children. Where are all the supervisors? Noone here to address the issue.

I visited the branch today for a small shopping. I was craving for a chocolate cake. There was only one cake at the shelve and the packaging was broken. A colleague in the bread section reducing the price for the bread which must be expiring today. I approached him and asked if you have anymore as the packaging is broken. He said no. I asked the packaging is broken, can you reduce the price and his answer was very stressing. He straightaway said you may have broken it. It is absolutely ridiculous how pathetic he was. The time was around 18:35. The staff has no idea as how to be polite towards customers. I am extremely upset about it. As Tesco is a big company, they must give full trainings to their staffs and tell them how important customers are. This will probably be my last visit to Tesco. Thanks

Went to Tesco Shannon Corner and the place has really gone down hill. Really dirty, loads of litter and tons of items left on shelves that don?t belong in those aisles. Shelves were a mess too.
Also constant alarm beeping loudly by tills. The till operator had dodgy equipment and couldn't unlock security tags or put his call bell on to get any help. Had to shout at another till operator!! Till opposite, the conveyor belt was disgustingly dirty. Thank goodness that till was shut.

You know when, like all shops, they move products around to make you shop longer and possibly buy more. Well this Tesco takes that to the extreme, moving items around in the most random of places. Ketchup by the bleach kind of random. Pasta sauce one corner and pasta the other side?? Stupid! Makes a 10min trip last 4x as long! So frustrating!
I gave the benefit of the doubt while refurb work was being done but it?s still just as annoying now it?s finished!
Don?t shop here in a rush!
The only redeeming factor is the free 22kw EV charger in the car park.
