We recently visited DFS to choose a new sofa, and we were lucky enough to be assisted by Lloyd. He was incredibly helpful and made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand what we were looking for. Lloyd guided us through the options, answered all our questions, and helped us find the perfect sofa for our home. Thank you, Lloyd, for your excellent customer service.

Bought a brand new chair in a brand new range in November for delivery in December. Ordered 1 to check sizing in the room. Loved it and tried to order another.... Discontinued and no help in matching or contacting the supplier.
The range was cancelled in under 3 months of sale. I now have an orphaned chair

I?d give half a star if I could. 0.00001 stars. We gave the measurements to the sales guy and he said ?yes yes the couch will fit?. They did not. He only said that to get the sale. We waited 11 damn weeks to get it.
Total rip-off. Go somewhere else. Please don?t come here.

Disgusting level of service
I would highly NOT! recommend dfs new Malden! We have had the worst experience with them shahid in particular is something else! The most unhelpful ?manager? we ordered a sofa with them months in advance for Christmas and with their grantee for Christmas signs up outside and numerous times asking are you sure it will come ?oh absolutely Mrs Kelly!? We had received a text to confirm our delivery slot 22/12/24 we received this on 15/12/24 we then arranged a collection of our current sofa 19/12/24 the guy who came to collect our sofa said oh I hope your new ones aren?t coming through dfs as they have majorly let us down with delivery before Christmas I said oh no we have had a text to confirm! We then received a phone call on the morning of the 22/12/24 @ 11.24 am considering our sofa delivery was scheduled for 13.38-16.38 to let us know it?s been delayed! I said ok how many hours are we talking about a week I was told!!! I had explained several times we don?t have a sofa it?s Christmas we are hosting for 10 people ! Your telling me this now! What can you do to put this right ?I?m sorry Mrs Kelly there isn?t anything we can do!? I said surly you must have a loan sofa available it?s taken the customer to ask for this and they couldn?t guarantee they did it wouldn?t be a recliner which is what I had ordered as I have my mother staying who has just had a knee replacement which is why we organised to have this sofa! This was our second purchase within weeks of each other we have spent nearly 5 thousand pounds with dfs surely your help us! it took us I don?t no how many phone calls to the warehouse in Farnham to see what they have to deliver to us even then it may not be promised before Christmas we have spent hours on the phone to dfs customer service hours on the phone to dfs new Malden several visits to the store to have a chat in person and all this has completely taking over our Christmas! We have two young children who?s Christmas has been affected by this they didn?t get to have their grandparents stay over Because of dfs! And in all this we still have a footstall we are waiting for I placed this order on the 11/11/24 I was told 6 weeks delivery it?s now the 14th January and still no delivery I?ve requested cancellation now to which their reply is sorry we can?t do that Mrs Kelly as the footstall has already been made. I?m beyond disgusted at dfs I wouldn?t ever ever purchase something through them again! Word of mouth is great when your in the industry we are in and it?s something I would advise anyone against if they ever mention dfs again. The only thing we have been offered is £150! For our inconvenience it?s beyond embarrassing I wouldn?t have a job if I treated clients in this manner.

Do not use and avoid Samir Talic, over promised and under delivered.
Promised a sofa to be delivered before Christmas, said we needed to come in the next day to avoid deadline. I took afternoon off work and picked up son early from nursery.
We got our sofa removed for delivery and had no sofa for Christmas and we were hosting.
I have asked what DFS and Samir will do and he said post a negative review.
So I have?
I am very upset with Samir and the team.

Missleading prices when you factor in the compulsory delivery charge.
Like others we went to buy a sofa today on the January specials. Sofa £399, delivery £139! Over 25% of the purchase price! I asked if I could collect it as I live a mile away and own a van. Answer was a flat out no. Needless to say we walked out. Very bad company who advertise cheap products the add a delivery charge of this amount!

Extremely disappointed with the poor customer service from DFS. As loyal customers who have previously purchased two three sofas, we expected much better. The sofa we purchased was, for some reason, immediately discontinued after purchase?and it was definitely not a limited edition. Despite this, DFS refused to recall it, likely because it would cost them money. The sofa is so poorly made that we stopped using it altogether as it caused back problems for our entire family. We even had to buy a temporary sofa to replace it.
Shahid, the New Malden manager, ignored our complaint and failed to deliver on his promises. When escalated to Darren, the area manager, things only got worse?he showed no empathy, refused to apologise, and only acted after we mentioned our rights under the Consumer Rights Act. Darren promised to call back within minutes to book an appointment for engineer for the faulty sofa but never did. We also requested an email summary of our conversation, which hasn?t been received.
This complaint has dragged on for years, with both managers showing no accountability. I wish I knew the articles below before we purchased the sofa, it happened to us exactly the same. Terrible service?avoid DFS!

Myself and my wife were excited to buy our very first sofa together for our forever home. We had several friends and family order from DFS in the past and they all had issues with their orders, nevertheless, we thought we?d brave it. We went to their store in Raynes Park which was actually quite pleasurable and painless thanks to Ali. We spent the best part of £3000. We waited 7 weeks for our order to arrive (which was fine) and today we had our 3 seater recliner, 2 seater and foot stool delivered. After pre apologising to Ryan the delivery driver that we had concerns the order might be wrong, he assured us there would be nothing to worry about. 10 mins went by before Ryan called us and said ?there?s a problem?. ?Greeeaaaat? me and my parter both said. Not only was the power pack for our recliners not included with the delivery, they forgot the feet for one of the sofas. He apologised and said he had reported it and a someone would call us next week. We then examined the footstool, which looked like it was constructed by a young Stevie Wonder and there was a hole in the storage part and on one of the side (Surely a second pair of eyes should have checked the craftsmanship?) Once Ryan and his friend left, we found another hole in the footstool (£300). We also found multiple scrapes imperfections on the backs of both the sofas. We reported the issues, and now we have to wait 2 weeks for an engineer to come out, and I now have to take a day off work to accommodate his visit. When i contacted customer service, they did apologise, but offered nothing in the way of compensation and all I got was pre written email template in reply. Honestly, on hine site, I wished we listened to our friends and family and gone else where else! ?

Good clean enviroment
