This store is always understaff . Few people working and all hiding themself from customers . If you ask for help . I will be back after few seconds. That few seconds last for hours . Very poor service always .

Great customer service and care from Ashley (302) in Currys New Malden. He had an expert knowledge in the product we bought and explained everything thoroughly.

Be very careful about shopping here. Service is extremely poor. They are out there to con you. Be very guarded about your purchases. Bought a discounted kitchen dough mixer, when came home found a major accessory missing. The product wasn't sold us to be with missing accessory. Bought a coffee maker , they overcharged us on it. Sold us 2 years repair insurance although the product already has 2 years manufacturer warranty.

I went today to collect a click and collect order. I was given this item which had clearly previously been opened, had damaged packaging and seemed to be a returned item. I asked if I could have a new item and was told it was not in stock. I was told my only option was for a new item to be ordered and it would arrive in 7-10 days.I asked how I would be notified of this when it was in stock and was told that I should just try turning up in 7 days and there was no notification method for a re-order.The customer service colleague was very rude, would not provide me a name, and was not wearing a name badge (he was wearing a Nike jumper not a uniform too). This was at 7.05pm on 03/01/24

Excellent customer service by Mr Kandee! Helped me buy a new 65 inch TV, he was very calm/patient explaining the pros and cons of each product. Will definitely look out for him next time I buy a product from Currys New Malden ??

Served by Janrick on a very busy Boxing Day.. He was very, polite, pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable about the product I was looking at. As a result I bought a new a shark hoover. Whilst I heard an impatient and demanding customer nearby Janrick was very professional with us. Well done.

Very poor service. Spoke to someone who said couldn't get our item for 4 weeks as was using their own finance (tried using their app but wouldnt let us.) But if ordered and paid now, I would get in two days. Very strange.Spoke to a manager who said he could get in 5 to 7 days.Passed us to a colleague who rushed the order through and said, "Just keep coming in and checking to see if its " (We dont live close and seemed weird but ok)We came in a few days later and spoke to another lady who also said was store manager. She was helpful but said it would be 14 days until we got the item. Way to late as was past the birth date.Her and a colleague searched and found another store that had the iten bit was a great distance. They saidwould try to get to us as soon as possible and would give us a call when they receive it. ( A few minutes later, they asked for our number as it was not on file and should have been)In fairness a few days later (day of birthday), they did call and said they had in store.We received the item but a lot of lies and passing around to get an expensive item.

Incompetent staff.I had pre paid and pre ordered a item.I walked in made my presence known to a staff member. Who initially told me to follow instructions on the email I had recieved. Which I did. The second instruction was to go speak to staff at the relevent desk. I then was told to wait. While a staff member who wasn't at a till walked around cashing up a till wandering about with wads of cash. While 2 other members of staff were busy not helping a queue or people bow waiting. Everyone was confused if anyone was being served or if we were all jist waiting for someone to acknowledge our presence.Eventually after alot of loud speaking I was asked if they could help.And walked to a cupboard to retrieve my item. It took 30 seconds. But they had chosen to just ignore us and do what they wanted as they were due to close in 40 minutes. So just attempted to close up before helping any customers.

So, I have had my laptop sent to repair 3 times. The first issue was that the fan was overheating and was making noises. This issue became evidently worse once it arrived back from the repair centre, as the computer would shut down from the overheating everytime I used it. When I gave it for repair the 2nd time, someone called me from Currys and admitted this, and told me that they forgot to do something whilst fixing it. He assured me that this would not be an issue as they did all the tests possible; however, when I got the laptop back, the issues persisted. He did not go past my account login, and therefore it said on the repair receipt that not all diagnostic tests were done. I called the manager on the phone from Currys, who said that she could request the store to write off in order for me to get back to my studies. This is because I haven't attended any lectures as I have a disability where I need to type my exams, and I was getting emails regarding my attendance. If the issue persists, I could be thrown out of my course. I am in my third and final year of law. I explained this issue on the call and to the store manager at New Malden. They told me I could send it for a repair but have it written off. But now the same person who called me when I gave the laptop the second time is calling, retracting his statements, and claiming that the laptop was damaged before they got it the first time. This is unacceptable and has heavily impacted my studies. It feels like my disability has been taken as a joke and no one is trying to help. There has been incredible negligence by staff at Currys. The customer service has been hugely disappointing. The fact that they even asked me to have it fixed three times is ridiculous. Still no help has been offered by the Currys PC support team. And calling them does not help, as you are likely to get transferred 8 times. Unbelievable

A really good-sized store has all the latest gadgets and tec you could need unless it's a phone that's in the Black Friday sale and not in stock anyway in the country ? so was a waste of time for me but would recommend checking online if your after something specific

They Couldn?t find my collection order for 20mins. During the transaction of something else i was given a list of delivery slots but I wasn?t told at the time about a premium delivery charge until I noticed it on my bill. Should be more upfront with customers.

We wanted to purchase corsair headphones and mouse but there were only display boxes available on the shelf. We couldnt get anyone?s assistance as everyone is with a customer. We managed to get one of the guys attention and he told us to just go straight to the till and they will get the headset and mouse for us from the back. No one was on the till, had to go to help and support to get attended to. When they scanned the barcode, they finally told us that apparently these two were out if stock. Such a waste of time waiting for people to assist us and such an absolute joke, why display the boxes if theyre out of stock. There was no indication that it was because the whole aisle for Corsair headphones were all empty boxes. Absolute waste of time, there should be more people on the floor especially after working hours because thats when people go to shop! Not a nice experience at all!!

Valerie, washing machine specialist, has excellent knowledge and actually listened to what we were looking for. Valerie was very thorough in researching all the options which satisfied our criteria and we made our choice feeling comfortable with our decision. Her humour and experience was greatly appreciated and we wished to let Currys know what an asset she is to the Company.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS CURRY'S STORE.I went to buy a Samsung tv on black Friday and it was out of stock in my local branch so I went to a different one in New Malden. Once I got there, the sales person that attended me, focused on diverting my interest to other brands. He showed me Sony tv that was £200 more expensive that the Samsung I wanted in the first place, and convince me to buy it as the quality of the image was really outstanding. I eventually bought the Sony Tv and even set a warranty for 5 years to keep my brand new flashing tv in the best condition in long term.When I got home and installed the tv, I realised that the quality of the image wasn't any more special than an average tv. The image was very dark and when adjusting the settings to make it brighter, it hurted my eyes after some screen time. I then decided to return the Tv as I felt that I was sold a product that didn't match the expectations I was sold at the store.My surprise was that they didn't bother at all about my concern. They told me that as I had opened the box already, there was nothing that they could do to help me, that I could have returned it if I had bought it online instead. I got upset and then they sent a technician to check if there was any problem with the tv and after 20 minutes aprox, he confirmed there was nothing wrong with the tv so they insisted that they couldn't do anything for me and they showed me the door.I felt like I was pushed to buy a product that I did not wanted and that it was a scam as it was nothing like the exhibited at the store. On top of that, the whole team ignored me completely since the beginning and practically kicked me out of the store intead of looking for alternatives to sort my problem out. I was left without options and with zero rights as a cosumer.I am not satisfied with the product and Curry's is forcing me to keep it.I WON'T BE BUYING FROM ANY CURRY'S NEVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE.Run away from these scoundrels!

Took a while to find someone to help, then told they were too busy. Went to the main desk who were very helpful. When leaving the store the security guard was arguing with a customer who refused to show her receipt. Asked to see our receipt while still arguing with the same customer. He then snatched it out of my hand and scrunched it up, looked at it and handed it back with anger.
