I had to stay for sometime in this Hotel , Very rude manager with long black hair ? he needs training.Very tired old Hotel no Wi-Fi (free only for 30 mins) then you have to pay for it ?the only good things are here are the kind cleaning staff and the Lithuanian helpful young boy in the reception evening time and the free parking, near to the station.very dusty rooms full of webs on the wall corners , I spent a week coughing blood because of it ?filthy carpet , mould smell, stains on new towels and on the pillow cases (not washed properly) ? After I changed the room something bites me every morning waking up with red ratchet rushes (bed bugs)? Not sure what was it ?I changed the room again it was ok but the single beds are always hard and you only get 1 pillow. Not safe whenever it rains the roofs fallen down in the hallway and bucket on the way for the drops. The shampoo in the bathroom smells awful ?I know it?s not 5 stars hotel but lol I have been in other Travelodge hotels but this one 0 ?why no suckets? next to bed ? and the little box of breakfast it?s for £5 ?you have to open the door with the key ? in 2024 not with card.

Friendly and welcoming staff, clean rooms, free parking for the customers and cheap parking for the non customers. Close to shops and Merton Council and College. Definitely recommended.Food & drinks: A couple of vending machines inside, lots of takeaways and restaurants nearby.

The staff here are really nice however could do little regarding the noise from above which every night for four nights seemed to be running and jumping off beds or furniture ,we did mention it and the lady on duty went to see the lady and her children in question ,but it wasn't five minutes later when it started again ,there was no follow to inform us and the lady although lovely was not effective in her request of informing the upstairs occupants , this went on every night until midnight it was very difficult to lye and relax with footsteps and jumping coming through the ceiling . The hotel also requires room s being cleaned and decorated the room we stayed in particularly the bathroom was very old ,the chairs in the room both displayed bad damage ,we have stayed here many times but this was our worst visit ever

We were greeted by a lovely man at reception who's name was Ceslovas, his customer service skills were exceptional, he went above and beyond for his customers. There is parking on site which is free if you register your vehicle. There is a vending machine with drinks and snacks at reception. Room was lovely and clean with a nice comfortable bed, toilet shower etc all fine, hot drink facilities in the room, TV etc. Was quiet and cosy in there. No problem if asking for supplies eg toilet rolls and coffee etc at reception. Breakfast boxes were great, plenty in there and good price. There is a pub right next door to go for drinks and food which is great. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning when we need a short trip to the area again!Rooms: Clean, comfortable, good amenitiesNearby activities: Pub restaurant next door, close to transport routesFood & drinks: Vending machine on site, hot drink making facilities in the room, pub and restaurant next doorNoteworthy details: Excellent customer service

Stayed here because of the closeness to our venues to celebrate ? my husband's,Peter , birthday, and closeness to family and friends. The room was OK but we had to turn the heater off...it was 21 degrees outside...sweltering! I know, October...really??There was only one bath towel and one hand towel,so once I had had a shower and washed my hair there were no more dry towels ..not even a step on shower mat..... unless the hand towel was supposed to be the bath mat...? I used the small hand towel to wrap my wet hair....There was a sign you could put out on the door to alert housekeeping that the towels needed changing,we did that but again only one bath towel and one hand towel was exchanged .....clearly the room was occupied by two adults. There was no hair dryerand no small iron for those slightly creased shirts...?Toilet paper was cheap and nasty, surely for the price you pay they could afford better!!!! Come on !!!We found the key to the room cumbersome and awkward, surely a swipe card is so much easier, and for two people to have one key was not good either...having to ask each other for the key is SO old.!!!!The staff there were very helpful, can't take that away from them, polite and helpful. But....Come on Travelodge, give the people what they pay for!!!!Food & drinks: We went to the eatery across from the Travelodge, I met up there with my husband and some family in the late afternoon.I went to the bar to buy us a drink. Little did I know that I would be waiting for 15 minutes to be served.....two people at the bar were also ordering food, food for adults and children, their likes and dislikes and sauces and etc and etc......really???One staff member at the bar serving???When I asked if there was anyone else serving the girl said no,only me at this time.....so I stood and waited and finally I was served....after I gave my drinks order the bar server asked another member of staff to help serve the now very long queue!!!!Couldn't or shouldn't she have done that sooner before the queue built up???? Really not happy about the length of time it took to order 4 drinks, the length of the queue behind me was terrible...not good.?

So the good points, the hotel is well located for morden tube and train connections and there is free parking. The bad points, the carpets are filthy, the rooms are old and tired, the tiles behind the toilet were cracked, the bathroom smelt really damp and we had to leave the bathroom light and fan on all night so it did not smell overpowering. The corridor is noisy. People are clearly living long term in this hotel and there are rubbish bags and other things left in corridors overnight. The loo roll is thinner than a rizla and they leave you about half a roll in the room. The laundry collection happens at about 6am on a Sunday morning and is noisy as hell. Also, there is a church next door, and the bells go on the hour every hour throughout the night so if you are a light sleeper this is not for you. At 8.45am on a Sunday the bells starts and continue for 15 minutes so don't expect a lay in.

Hotel has seen better days, the hotel was smelly inside and it was peaceful, the bed squeeked like crazy. the worst thing, although you rarly see anuone is that so many rooms are given over to the homeless

Its basic. But comfortable clean rooms. Only breakfast option is a box containing cornflakes and milk, Musli bar and a pan au chocolate. Also an orange juice. I was quite happy with this instead of my usual pile of unlimited fried food at other establishments. The staff were exemplary especially Ceslovas who was most helpful and friendly.
