I have visited Nationwide in Morden a number of times during these challenging times. Julie, the Manager is excellent in the way that she has supported her team and customers, always there to offer a hand and be available with any questions. It cannot have been easy overseeing a team during these times and I have the highest praise for the branch and Julie's management.

I only visited this brunch twice: first, few weeks ago I wanted to pay a bill and was told that I can do this by one member of staff so I joined the line only to be told at the counter that I couldn't because "something was not ready". Then, yesterday I gave it another try. I wanted to pay some cash into my account. My wife even joked that it is probably not possible but I thought - come on, this is quite a simple request. So I went in, waited in a line of 4 people only to be told at the counter that I cannot pay money into my own account because of the kind of bank card I have (just a standard Visa Debit). I was told to use the machine outside - well, I do not want to use the machine outside because it is raining, I have a small baby with me, who knows who touched that machine before me and also, I don't feel safe paying in large amount of cash just on the street like this. Still, all I got was "not possible, sorry, computer says no". So I left without paying the money in.Well done Nationwide: 100% success rate in not serving your customer.

The worst manageress I?ve ever experienced. Bank changing policies without notifying customers. Then blaming Covid for things that are not affected by Covid.I was only allowed 3 months statements printed due to Covid apparently. I arrive home to find after asking for March to May they?ve printed Feb to April... After the manner in which I was blankley refused reasoning for changes to innate policies this was truly disgusting customer service. Choose any other branch for your sake.

Manageress of morden branch can be very rude to customers and not very helpful. Place is so small you sometimes wait ages to get served.

Closing earlier at the moment. Got there at 2.00 pm last Tuesday not knowing what time it closed. I was allowed in, but the woman supervising the queue twice mentioned that I should have got there earlier. I don't really understand why she mentioned it twice when once would have been sufficient. I felt as I was spoken to as if I had done something wrong. However, I paid the cheque in as I wanted to and a desk was opened up for me to speed things up as the person being served at the counter was a long time. The service is usually excellent there.

Very friendly staff who remember their customers. I went away for a year at University and returned to the cashier asking how my studies went.
I think the branch could use expanding: only two cashier points make for long queue times.
