I was referred to Akasi Pharmacy by my GP. I have not had an earwax removal service before so was not sure what to expect. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Lisa, who carried out the service, was very welcoming, reassuring and friendly. My right ear was so painful for weeks but after seeing Lisa for 2 sessions, I couldn?t be happier. There is no more pain or discomfort and my hearing is back to normal. Thank you so much Lisa, I am absolutely chuffed!(I could not give 5 stars though as when I had entered the pharmacy, it had taken a while for some of the staff there to even acknowledge me. I accept that things can be busy but I had gone in during quiet periods and still felt rather invisible/ignored, which isn't great customer service. The ear wax removal was excellent though so 5 stars for that!)

Not very helpful at all, referred to them by NHS 111 they didn?t even know what to do or suggest something.

I could not hear from my left ear for over three years and when I deceided to sort it out. I was refereed to Akasi pharmacy for ear syringing and the lady was amazing and persevered for two sessions to help unblock my ears. I would highly recommend.

Rather concerned that some staff are giving out misinformation. Requested a delivery of pain medication on the 24/01/23. Was told by staff that delivery would be made Monday 30/01/23. Phoned on Monday to evaluate delivery, was then informed delivery would be at 13.00 on Tuesday 31/01/23. At 14.00 inquired again, but this time informed deliveries only made on Tuesday and Thursday. So missed a day of pain relief after colon cancer removal nine days ago. Not a pleasant time.

Tanna pharmacy is one of the oldest pharmacies in this area. Mr Tanna managing this business and serving the community very effectively. Very good customer service. Patients with minor illness may take advice from Mr Tanna, rather than going to the GP to save time.

I?ve been a customer of Tanna pharmacy for years with no problems. However since Mr Tanna has left things have changed. To say the new staff lack people skills is an understatement.I am a 47 year old woman currently receiving medication for depression and psychosis and OCD, I am not unable to hold a conversation nor am I at risk to myself or others. However on a couple of occasions now when I?ve been to collect/ speak to them about my medication, I?ve been dismissed and the staff have asked to speak to my daughter.Where she in turn has given the same information that I was giving them.There lack of people skills and awareness of mental health is astonishing, I have left on both occasions very upset and feeling let down in general by this service.I am leaving this review so that others are aware of the level of customer service before they find themselves in the same situation. It?s such a shame as it was a nice little chemist, well run with a personal touch. I?ve left the one star as one of the original ladies that works behind the counter is really nice and helpful.

So sad to find out that Mr. Tanna has left and the chemist has changed hands. All new faces and Indian lady with glasses extremely helpful and polite.. Who I think is the manager. Good ? Luck
