Stop forcing people to use the self checkout. While others may use them, I personally don't want to use them for ethical reasons. It's not my job to police myself and check myself out as I do not work for LIDL nor am I receiving a paycheck for contributing to the supermarkets cost managing solutions.
If you see customers clearly queueing at a cashier's lane, it is clear that they don't want to be bullied into using the self checkouts just so you can maximize your bottom line profits. To have to defend myself that I don't want to use self checkouts in order to be LIDL's customer as opposed to any other supermarket is outrageous.

Just like any other Lidl: good prices, mediocre fresh food quality, great bakery, and I hate their self service checkouts so always ends with a bad experience

Just DIY checkouts which are rubbish if you have their pull along baskets with more than one shopping bag of items in. Just have to stack items and then bag after paying .

Have not been at this Lidl for a while. Usually, go to the one at Rosehill, Carshalton.

Shop is very well stocked and great bakery selections (even in the evening there is plenty to choose from). They have some great deals in the middle aisle! Only 3 stars as there is never any staff available for tills and self check out. There was a young staff member running the self check out and you could clearly see he was stressing as the self checkout machines can be temperamental and dealing with customers at the same time. He was doing a great job though!

Spacious layout, with a large middle of Lidl section (3 aisles) selling all the usual foods you would expect from Lidl. Great bakery section too!
