Very good pub with good food and great atmosphere although most of the patio seems to be smoking areas so I would recommend they reduce this to ensure less chance of passive smoking

I'm editing my review from 6 years ago because things move on.
The staff at The Three Hammers are amazingly friendly, great atmosphere with the occasional live music nights, special offers on some drinks and reasonably priced food.
I have been taking my Mum to The Three Hammers for the past 10 years on a Sunday. Recently my Mum was in hospital and we didn't make it to the pub for 5 months, we returned this Sunday for a family lunch. Yvonne who works at the pub gave my Mum the biggest, warmest hug, she was so worried when she hadn't seen us for so long. Yvonne's warm welcome brought tears to our eyes, she is more than a member of staff, and this is why we return to this pub.

Great place to meet up with friends, have a bite to eat and a good range of drinks. Beer garden bonus.Family friendly until late which is unusual, but very welcome. I wish more places were like this, as they are in Europe. Holiday in Mill Hill. A real find.

I can not believe how I can get told by a manager on the phone that it's not there fault just eat hasn't picked my £23 order up at 8 o'clock its sat here waiting now take it up with them wow great customer service all I want is my money back off either person seen as though I'm not eating now.?? as to your reply I was talking in a calm and respectful manner the first time I spoke to you it was your incompetence as a manger that escalated the situation by saying its not our problem I'm not losing out on money because just eat hasn't picked it up either way I got cold food at 9.30 after been cooked at 8 as you told me and just eat hasn't issued me a refund because you basically told them everything was fine with the order so quit rightly got a little annoyed second time I rang and as again was no help basically got told not your problem great customer service that's is I will keep trying either way to get my money back because plases like yours got no respect for customers.i work away and deal with pubs takeaways and places and have never had a problem like this anywhere so I'd avoid as I said.

A great space with a lot more potential. Food quite average.
The small brownie for pudding was rock hard/stale.
Would be tempted to go back to give it another try.

All the staff are friendly and delightful
The service is magnificent and the atmosphere is lovely
Vegetarian options: I love the sweet potatoe and falafel starter also vegan lasagne is lovely and tasty.the seabass is my favourite
Parking: There is car parking inside but there is also parking on the road In front of the three hammers

Big inside, small garden but very comfortable cozy pub. Very good value drinks and kids portion for food was spot on and very affordable
Kid-friendliness: Kids food was ideal. Set prices and menus for under 6 and over 6 yrs. So many pubs give way too much food.
