Bedbugs, very basic (e.g., shower has a shower curtain, I don't think I have seen one since the early noughties), stained carpets , no housekeeping unless you ask for it (and this is not mentioned at check in), absolute absence of communication (I asked at least 4 times what happens to my clothes/suitcase due to the bedbug... read full comment

An average Travelodge, good location, central in City of London, close to both Aldgate and Liverpool Street stations. Standard rooms are standard for sure and mine would definitely have needed an update, but a comfy bed and everything been there. You can see the wear and tear all over the place. Small breakfast/ bar room.
