The atmosphere was amazing drinks were cheap.
Most importantly a very helpful staff member named Bailey helped change my phone . Legend. Shout out to Bailey.

In terms of food, you get what you pay for. Busy Friday afternoon and only 1 person on the bar and 1 person on the app. No queueing system so you can wait a while. The atmosphere is lively but can be a bit much with the proximity of seating being too close together to accommodate the crowd.

I have rated device as one star but this is only to make a point, as staff have been very nice and helpful all night long but the manager literally been using his power to treat his customers the way he wanted to. I have been using whether spoon app all night long ordering drinks, drinks came up with good service and I loved and tip staff for the service they have provided as well. But late in the the night I have ordered drinks for myself and people I have met next to my table. As it has took too long to get drinks, I felt I had to go toilet first then come back for the drinks . Ad I have arrived to my table the with a lot of rush the manager with a tray arrived at the same time and saw no one was sitting at table 158. I said thru are my drinks and he was very bad attitude saying if you order you should never leave the table. I said I?m sorry it took so long to receive the drinks do I had to quickly go toilet first. He served the drinks with lots of attitude and I said why you are so angry, please calm down I?m here now. That was enough for him to not to serve me after that. It was very bad by manager. I was there on 03.08.2025 from 6:00pm onwards on table 158. Please check and see if I have been any disrespectful to him.

Another Wetherspoons to my list, The Half Moon is a classic style pub probably what you would call a local, was originally a theatre apparently, as usual the prices were excellent 3.14 for a pint of shipyard, we had the new Big Smoke burger while we were there which was full of flavour with the beef brisket in it!!! All the staff there were super friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault this pub.

Would have been a wonderful night if it wasn't for the duty manager. We went on a Thursday (24/7/25) around 5pm and was there for a few hours. One of the servers brought a drink that was not ours. We told them it was not ours but they insisted and left it on the table. The duty manager came over with a terrible attitude demanding we paid for the drink. So, to avoid confrontation we paid then she told the workers not to serve our table. She and all the other workers refused to tell us her name.

amazing establishment, Anas provided excellent table service the entire time I was there, he was extremely quick and efficient with clearing my table and bringing orders. Cameron at the bar served a perfect pint every time and was so so lovely. Would come again :))

Hardworking and kind staff. Old building adds to the charm of the place. Ordered in person and with the app ( Highly recommended so you don't lose your seat if you are by yourself if the place gets busy). Lots of seating options. Each Weatherspoon has different real ale beers, so don't think they're all the same!
