I absolutely loved this store and I go there every time after a day at uni. Everything?s on demand and the staff were quite helpful, I always get the best pork belly too. However, the reason I?m here in the comment section is just that I just can?t get rid of the bad memories I had in front of the store, I?m sorry it?s nothing to do with the store itself, but being yelled at by a group of random street guys in some Asian language is just the worst moment of a normal happy day with friends out. Of course we wanted to fight back but what if they attacked us? This is east London. There?s also times when a homeless made their dog hold a basket, I took a picture of it cos the dog is cute, and he insisted on getting money from me. It?s so unfair for the dog, and it?s an absolute harassment to a passenger. It?s sad that the daily grocery store I visit has link to such unforgettable negative experiences. I hope that the store runs well and all the security people are safe and sound.

Conveniently located close to the ibis, has the essentials and self checkout, very easy to pickup something you might have forgotten to pack. Staff were polite when asked about item location, turned out to be out of stock but otherwise well stocked.

This has been my local grocery store for almost 5 years. During COVID we started collecting our groceries with our own bags due to sanitary issues. Today a guard yelled at me across the store when I did this instead of politely telling me the policy has changed. It was uncalled for and unnecessary.

Great location but the worst possible customer service. Woman with birthmark on her face?the most rude angry cow you wanna see to start the work day. If you are j happy love, find another job. I?m sure there are plenty of people who actually could use that job. Great location, convenient?has a homeless problem so be warned.

This convenience store provided the basic necessities at a reasonable pricing. Do go for the meal sets which were very good. Delicious food set including a snack and drink, we found this to be worth the money paid for. Target ? for the pasta and wraps which were fresh and flavourful.

I would like to post a comment about one of your staff members. Her name is Savjot - a situation occurred where your machines were not acknowledging club cards. When asking for her help she was extremely unprofessional as she left us stood whilst she went over to stand at the till and laugh. She refuses to fulfil her basic duties of customer service. Is this the kind of staff you hire?

Small store but good layout of products. Enough self service machines. Lighting appears poor as high shelves and tight walkways.

The shop is well equipped with most things you wanna find, however the low rating is for the woman staff who was quite unhelpful, not willing for help.

I mean it does the job some of the time when you need something with low expectations? however if the club card price doesn?t show up as marked on the item and you ask for assistance at the till, the cashier just takes it from you and is like ?oh well too bad? and just leaves you hanging there ? I don?t think the cashier is an idiot per se, just that the training of this staff is a joke.

Do not buy prepared fruits in this supermarket. I bought a fruit salad that was due date in a couple of days, despite that the fruits went bad already. I came back, the staff gave me a refund. I bought a different fruit bowl instead - the same story. The sandwiches also don?t taste fresh.

The tills can never read my club card.I stand there for several minutes trying to get it to read my QR code, try every angle possible, and it never scans. What is the point of creating a QR code if the tills can't read them?

I was staying in a nearby hotel and awoke on Sunday morning with most places closed. However this Tesco Express does open early on a Sunday and four chocolate muffins for a quid did the trick.
