I emailed Coffee Republic as part of a compassionate campaign encouraging cafés to stop charging extra for plant-based milk ? a small but meaningful step toward sustainability and inclusivity.
In response, I received the shockingly unprofessional email shown in the screenshot. Rather than addressing my concern politely or clarifying their policy, they replied with sarcasm, told me to ?do my own research,? and accused me of being a ?sheep.?
Even if they don?t charge extra (which isn?t clearly stated anywhere), this is not how any business should respond to customer feedback. Respect and professionalism matter ? and sadly, both were missing here.

Staff made me an absolutely delicious iced version of their karak chai off the menu. Lovely friendly service and great drinks.

I tried the latte and chicken panini. Both were soo good. Definitely recommend. My go to work lunch spot! Staff are extremely friendly too.

Got a cold drink. It is the worst I've ever had, very cheap cups, very cheap sraws with no exaggeration. Tasted poor, watered down with most of it Ice. If I wasn't busy, I would have gone back for a refund and complained. Miserable service at the till.

I visited Coffee Republic expecting a proper cup of coffee, but I was seriously disappointed. The cup was barely half full, with the rest just foam, as you can see in the picture. It felt like I was paying for air rather than coffee! For the price, I expected better quantity and quality. Definitely not worth it?won?t be coming back anytime soon!

Had a iced latte. Was very sub par. Coffee wasn't the best tasting. Atmosphere also not the greatest. Lot of customers sat outside smoking, creates an unpleasant experience.

Impressive choices from hot/cold ruby chocolate, pistachio freezers to fine teas at Coffee Republic at Whitechapel.
They also do NHS discounts.
