Change the manager! My guy doesnt even understand english! His name is AFZAL! Told him a simple thing and he was arguing for good 20mins! At the end he knew he was at fault but still no sorry! Need a new manager for this branch otherwise you have lost a regular!

Big thanks to Hussain from Argos. He was able to rectify a problem for me after speaking to 3 different members of staff. I couldn?t believe that he wasn?t a manager and that he?s a normal team member.

I would recommend to go to any other Argos store except this one. Argos customer service compensated for this horrible behaviour but they still keep the same manager on the front with the same attitude.Members of staff in this store don?t wear name badges so if you wanna complain it makes it hard. The management are the worst with no training at all. Very rude and aggressive towards customers. All they care about in this store is to achieve targets. This store needs to change the management with matter of urgency. Without even checking items they bully you with their rude attitude.

Doesn?t even deserve a star after what I went through abuse and harassment from an Argos worker named ABIR. So I went in to return an item unused and in original packaging and he said it?s used and not refundable gave the item back and started serving another customer while I was asking what I can do. I tried to take a picture of his name badge to make a complaint as I said I?m saying it?s not used and he?s saying it?s used like he knows the purpose of the item I purchased and said to him he hasn?t finished serving me properly but ignored me serving others. Fair enough I will still make a complaint and told him that I?m taking his name and a picture of him with his name badge and walked off. How dare he follow me behind to the exit with his phone and starts recording me saying he knows how to record and abused me calling me ?short and ugly? which I can confirm is recorded on the cctv camera and everyone in the store saw his behaviour then walked away into the back doors of Argos. Upon screaming and shouting I asked for a manager to deal with this there was no one there but how dare he follows me and abuses me he refused to show his phone that he recorded me and called me names to the acting manager of Argos and security guard he hid there and didn?t come out. Is this really the training Argos provides their staff and allow them to use personal phones during work time too then get provided with a number to complain to head office and told they will check cctv when their free. I have attached the photo I took of him showing his name and the disgusting attitude he had on his face. I?m still waiting for them to get back to me regarding the cctv and official escalated complaint.

Purchased click & collect using Love2shop gift card, had a change of mind and wanted to return items. The manager Afzal offers only Argos gift card, although website and head office state refund can be made back to original L2S card. I requested for manager to call CS and seek advice, he replied for me to call and its my problem. At the end I Called CS again who then spoke to manager to refund back to original method of payment.Staff are unprofessional, rude and not willing to take accountability.

Rather than do their job, they'd rather stand around having a natter. "The items come into store at 9 but its not ready for you to collect at 10" - basically because they're lazy and would rather stand around doing nothing.

Whitechapel Argos inside the sainsburys branch has better customer service then the branch on whitechapel road very happy with mayesha customer service skills ? keep up the good work12/11/2023 aroud 11amWhitechapel Road (Unit 2a & 2b, 45 Whitechapel Road, E1 1DU) rude sales assistant with the worst customer service skills refused my item to return. She told me to go to another store to return the item. So I guess it was returnable? Clearly they are not following the ?return policy? of Argos and just trying to push their problems onto other people instead of dealing themselves. Absolutely disgusting customer service from the girl at the till. She's on her phone, ignores customers and then treats them like stupid. The worst of the worst. Incredible that someone like her even has a job. Should be in prison or in some basement hidden from the rest of the population.

Don't know what's wrong with the girls at the till, but she needs some customer etiquette lessons. Tone of voice and body language is also a skill lacking in that department.

I had chosen this shop for an order collection from ebay and they refused to receive it due to the size was too big for their tiny shop....My order went back to sender and got delayed for one more week...what a mess....

My daughters and I visited last night around 8.30pm to collect an EE IMO Q2 mobile phone. Hussain assisted us for about 30 min with the set up as we were struggling - while serving other customers on his own. He was extremely patient, calm and helpful. Thank you again Hussain !

If I could I would give zero star this service I had many problems before they are extremely rude people that are working in this place especially some manager called ?Rizwan? first of all can I please say how on earth did someone like him get a manager role who is unable to speak English properly and is no help what so ever, he is so rude instead of saying to customers nicely we are unable to cancel as they are Sainsbury?s Argos which is strange I will have to collect it and go to Argos Whitechapel to cancel, my question iswhy are u a Argos inside Sainsbury?s if ur no help? And then he tells me to wait 7 days without giving me a good explanation he is saying in such a rude tone there is no way of cancelling my purchase online as a manager he has some rubbish attitude and I am so surprised his got a job in retail with the lack of English, you need to make sure your colleagues treat customers with respect

Don?t give the order here. The ladies staff very unprofessional and rude with customers and if you return the order back for any reason. They are not accepted and argue too much. It?s waste of time and waste of money here because some Argos items is not good condition inside the boxes when you buy it
