Pleasant experience. Was only in there for paying that was on sale. These days wickes tends to be more expensive than its competitors. Gone are the days when you would go to wickes for everything. Nowadays it's only if items are on sale. The site was clean. Smaller store than the epsom or sutton one.

Popped in yesterday to find a hand held grass trimmer. I must say it was a breathe of fresh air to meet a friendly bunch of staff!
I ended up speaking to 3 different staff members, to help direct me to what I was looking for, to ask a question about a lawnmower & then speaking to Mark, who I presume was the manager.
Nothing was too much hassle for them & they processed my trolley of items quickly & efficiently.
I will definitely head there again when I need more garden tools next month as they clearly want to look after customers which makes the experience a whole lot better.

Terrible customer service. I spent over £100 here and was awarded with a hefty car parking fine for the privilege of parking in the car park immediately outside the store for more than 1hr. I rang, appealed, complained, did everything I could, but Gemma from the store wouldn't do anything about it.
UPDATE: I've seen Wickes' response, what a pile of nonsense. They'll not bother doing anything!

Awful experience at this wickes, the white women who i think they referd to as manager was the rudest person o had ever met, I went to this one specifically as they had 24 of the items in stock,
I get there after waiting around for 10 mins they bring me the wrong product, then after another 10 mins tell me that it's too high to reach and they dont have a fork lift to get it down?

Very helpful member of staff called Craig went out of his way to assist with both in-store and on line home delivery of goods. Made everything so much easier!

Not helpful staff,not updating website, restricted parking, if you stay is more than 1h you will get fine by post. ? i spend over 400£ for wood materials and hooop surprised ? on my post parking ticket for overstaying.
And they not accepting your appeal any way.
I regret going Wickes Merton .

I had the pleasure of being served by Mark in this branch and he was brilliant. Quick in finding me what I needed, helpful in showing me the sizing of what i needed before purchasing and very kind.
Best customer service I?ve ever received. Will definitely go back to this branch when I need to get items for my house.
