I?m very disappointed with the Colliers Wood Starbucks. The sofas are broken and unsafe, not meeting UK standards for seating. The air conditioning hasn?t worked for months, so it?s freezing in winter and unbearably hot in summer. Nothing has been fixed for nearly six months. They also never have mugs for customers who want to drink in. This store really needs better management and urgent repairs.
That said, the staff are great and provide excellent service, but the area manager needs to invest in this store. Good customer service can only go so far when nothing is in working order.

The two ladies working today were absolutely fantastic. Their customer service was top-notch?professional without being overbearing. Despite a long line, they worked seamlessly together, which was impressive. The quality of the coffee was exceptional, and the designs they created on the cups were perfect. Highly recommend!

I went today at 4pm, and one lady I think could be the manager was on the till. She asked me what I wanted and I show her my telephone screen and she asked me to tell her. I explained her that I couldn't and she insisted, I tried but I have a speech problem because I had a stroke in my past. I told her I couldn't do it, and again, she insisted. She said she could not read it because her glasses but she could read the till. I wanted to cry and other customer helped me by read it for me. Then I was waiting my coffee and I heard her says to the customer that she didn't want to read it because I put my phone on her face. When I didn't and I explained her my problem. So, she did not have no vision problems just she did not want to do it. I felt so sad and discriminated. This type of behaviour should be not allowed when you are working in customer services.

Dear Starbucks Team colliers wood,
I?m writing as a loyal and long-time customer who has always appreciated the Starbucks experience. However, I recently visited one of your stores and felt compelled to share some honest feedback regarding the current state of operations.
The store was in a very poor condition ? there were cups and rubbish scattered everywhere, and the top seating area was closed off before 6 PM, even though the store stays open until 8 PM. This created a very unwelcoming and neglected atmosphere.
Additionally, several staff members were having loud personal conversations, including speaking in their own language behind the counter. While I respect and value diversity, this, combined with the complaining and lack of professionalism, made the environment feel more like a staff break room than a welcoming space for customers. It became difficult to relax and enjoy my coffee.
As someone with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, I fully understand the challenges that come with the job ? especially under pressure or with lower wages. But it's crucial to maintain a professional atmosphere and prioritise the customer experience. When the team is disengaged, it reflects poorly on the brand.
I genuinely believe this store has potential. With stronger leadership, more support for staff well-being, and better focus on customer service, it could easily perform at a much higher level. Happy, well-managed staff not only improve day-to-day operations but also drive better KPIs and overall business growth.
Please take this feedback as coming from a friendly and loyal customer who cares about the brand. I hope these issues can be addressed to ensure that every store lives up to the high standards Starbucks is known for.

I absolutely love Starbucks in Tandem Centre Colliers Wood, but even more so as Katelyn provided me and my family with exceptional service she is very attentive and service driven and was able to help us with our allergy needs.
