The shop was a mess. Poorly stocked & the car park is over priced. It was the first time visiting this store & will be the last.

As you can see from the reviews, this store's been on a downward slide for a couple of years. After yesterday's visit I came away with chicken that went off 2 days ago, bagged salad that had been frozen and so was stinking and wilted and a stale croissant.
It seems to be getting a long-overdue refit after 25 years of continuous operation but almost every aspect of the shopping experience is poor. They put food that's not on offer in shelf spaces displaying an offer, the self-service checkouts are calibrated to assume you're stealing and there's usually 2-3 out of commission at any given time. It's family-unfriendly, and a few of the staff-service tills are too narrow to get a double buggy through. Meanwhile, if you're planning to use the buggy to carry the shopping home, you have to put it all through the self-service checkout, pay, then load up the buggy with an incessant 'please take your shopping', 'please take your shopping', 'please take your shopping', message playing every 10 seconds.
There are dystopian cameras on the checkouts and they've locked the spirits behind glass doors that you've got to get the security man to unlock. This means walking the length of the store, fully laden with shopping and kids, back to the entrance to get the security man, then the length of the store again back to the spirits section, then back to the tills to pay.
A year ago they made it so people without a loyalty card paid a higher price, and the 'rewards' of being a customer are a fiddly and Byzantine coupon system, where you get 5% off £50 but only between certain dates. You're issued 4 weeks' worth of dates and are supposed to carry around these paper coupons during the correct time window to receive your meagre prize.
The central complaints people couldn't care less about any of this, so what's the point of them?
The whole thing is an exercise in the minimum service the consumer will put up with, but I've certainly had more than I can tolerate. As a family of 5 in an affluent area, you'd have thought they'd want us through the doors, but apparently not so we're going back to online deliveries, not from Morrisons.

Complaint About Neglected Flowers in Morrisons Store
Dear Morrisons Customer Service,
I recently visited your store and was disappointed to see that the flowers in the floral section were noticeably dry and poorly maintained. It was clear that they had not been watered or cared for properly, making them look unappealing and unworthy of purchase.
As a customer, I expect fresh and well-kept flowers, especially from a reputable store like Morrisons. I believe proper care and regular maintenance would greatly improve the quality of the floral section and enhance the shopping experience for your customers.
I hope you can address this issue and ensure better care for the flowers in the future. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to seeing an improvement.
Best regards,
Lena

Can't really complain about, prime location in Wimbledon. The ght next to the cinema which is handy for the snacks.
My only down point of Morrisons is they sell arla products which now contain bovaer which has effected fertility in cows and has no longer term study of human consumption
