I have never experienced such a bad customer service. Bought a pair of trainers, teenage staff not interested in serving with a rude attitude. They made us feel so uncomfortable, I wanted to run out of the shop and I did, will never return! No wonder there was hardly any customer there, understandable now.

If there is zero opportunity I would give it. My wife purchased a coat from your store. When we got home we saw it was torn however I took it to Croydon store. They said we cannot refund it we need to send it to inspection. And guess what inspection found it is my fault. I am so much stupid that I torn it and went to store and said it was torn please can you change it. I will not buy anything else from JD after all. And I recommend all my friend do not buy it. Because there is no guarantee if you need to change it or refund it. How does your inspector know I torn it not while in you torn by some others.

I bought a coat for Christmas present. When I paid I put in a bag and the bag was empty. I came home to make a cover the gift then noticed the there were three cuts. Brought them they said it was not their faults. It was my faults. Even if the person did not try, put in a bag then came home then open it how that possible to cut in three diffirent parts. It was a gift for a friend. Such a shame and awful place. The did not accept it. What can a I do?

Entered the store with serious intent to purchase but disinterested staff managed to deter me from purchase.Totally unhelpful and in a word lazy.Avoid if you have an expectation of service.

Prices are very good but general staff need to be more accessible. Too busy chatting and when I asked for help they knew what they were doing but did no more than bring the shoes. How about undoing the second shoe's laces while I struggle with the first shoe.

I would give zero if I could. Staff are incompetent. With only me and another customer in the store, I had to actively ask for assistance (staff are not actively trying to sell or assist). Asked for 2 shoes - a mens and a woman?s shoe. The mens shoe never appeared and only after asking for information 10 min later, I was told they dont have it. Fair enough, but where is the engagement and service? The woman's shoe arrived and was paired with the display shoe (ie the last pair in the shop). The display pair was in a good condition but slightly dirty. I asked can it be wiped soo I can decide if I should buy it. I was told by a young blond woman she could not do that, and that it was the last pair and I would have to buy them as is. I declined and left. What a waste of 20 min. I bought two pairs of shoes at Ely?s instead.

Unbelievable unworthy staff, don't seem to want to work and only after their wages. Asked for trainers for my son and waited over 15 mins and no one even come to ask if help was needed. Ended up existing and not even thinking of going back. JD should train their staff in Customer Service.

Met an extremely rude female staff member on the shoe section. When asking for a shoe match and querying were they the same due to very severe discoloration on one she was disgracefully ignorant. Wouldn?t waste my time visiting this store. Horrendous customer service from an international brand.

Tremendous. After much trying, i got exactly the trainers that I required. Staff responses were a bit mixed. Still can't fault it.

We went there Today and what can I say the service is horrible.Lady on the till was nice and polite but the guy on the shop floor was rude and not helpful and was talking to us like he is a king.We gave him some trousers to put back (because we didn?t want to take them) and he completely ignored us and went away.The first time I can see the service like this in London.

Bought some trainers from here for my son for his birthday, he absolutely loves them. Everyone in the store were very helpful!

Came in today at 4:45pm to buy a pair of red shoes that my partner told me were in there. I've wanted these shoes for a while. We entered the store and went to ask if they have my size in the shoe.We went to a mixed race lady with wavy-ish hair but before we could even say anything she just says an abrupt "No." To which we were confused and asked "Sorry?" and then in a very rude, accusative tone said "You're a reseller aren't you?" pointing to my partner. Again, we were confused. She then said "We can't serve you."I said that she has no evidence of us being "resellers" and she said it was because my partner bought a pair in the morning in his size for himself. I told her that isn't fair and means nothing and got a very rude "Why you gettin' angry for?" repsonse. Eventually another employee came and politely explained that it's "not fair" on other customers since my partner had the shoes even though I said I fully intended in paying for them myself.Needless to say, I was refused service on a baseless accusation and this store has now lost a customer. I've never experienced such rudeness before from ANY other JD shop. I was left quite upset that there will most likely be no repercussions for the female employee's attitude towards us, even if she was "following company policy."
