My friend and I visited the Selfridges outlet today and were attended by Shija (we got her name from one of the other staff members), who unfortunately provided us with a disappointing experience. We ordered a chicken yakitori from the hot menu and selected a few colored plates from the belt. After waiting for 30 minutes and nearly forgetting about our order, the dish still hadn?t arrived. When we approached Shija to address the situation, her response made things even worse. She informed us that the yakitori was sold out but failed to update us earlier. While we understand that these things happen, we expected a more thoughtful and sincere acknowledgment of the issue. Instead, she simply stated that the dish was sold out and walked away without offering any further assistance or apology. As regular customers of Yo! Sushi, we were shocked by this lack of professionalism. We felt compelled to share this feedback, hoping that future interactions with staff members will be more positive.

DO NOT EAT HERE. My daughter and I ate here last night, I stopped us eating half way through our meal as something didn?t taste right. Fast forward to 6 hours later in our hotel and we?ve both been up all night extremely ill with food poisoning symptoms. Our last day in London ruined because of this place.

The Japanese fast food on the first floor of Selfridges has bar-like seats, as well as revolving sushi and various side dishes to choose from.
I went there three times, and each time I liked the mixed rice bowl of green beans, salmon, corn, avocado, and shredded cabbage. The curry chicken rice was also delicious.

The sushi was alright but not the best , it was slimy, and the ramen had hard noodles and the soup smelled really weird

Good choice of sushi ? Requested the salmon maki as it wasn?t on the belt, which came rather fast, and was available after that.
It took a little while to sit us, although most of the spots were available and three staff members were going back and forth in front of us, and it wasn?t so straightforward to get someone?s attention when wanting to order from the menu.
But overall a good experience, good food, and nice spot in the Selfridges food hall.

I ordered online for a click and collect only to be told my food won?t be made as the kitchen is closed. (Over an hour before the store closes). If the store closes at 9pm, I expect to be able to order anytime before 9pm. This should be stated on opening hours. Very disappointed.

During my visit, I approached Izzy the chef with a simple question regarding a dish he was preparing, as I was interested in ordering the same. To my surprise, Izzy responded with arrogance and rudeness, making me feel belittled and insulted. His behavior was completely unprofessional and not at all in line with the level of service I expect from a restaurant of your standing.
The rest of your staff were exemplary in their roles, providing excellent service and assistance throughout my visit. It is clear that they are well-trained and dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for your patrons. However, Izzy's conduct was in stark contrast and left a negative impression.

I appreciate the fact that I can have sushi casually at the centre of the city.
The seafood quality is ok, but the rice was terribly cooked which destroyed the quality of seafood.
(The seaweed salad was good)
Also the chef in front of was not nice, didn?t seem to be happy to service at all.
Moreover, he was cooking and touching the food without any glove, after playing with his phone and sweeping the floor.

Very simple and low quality sushi. The staff is not very friendly and agile. I wouldn't repeat it again...
