I recently dined at Pizza Express, and it was an overall satisfying experience. The location had a modern yet inviting vibe, with clean lines and plenty of natural light, making it a comfortable place for both casual and slightly more formal outings. The service was friendly, and the staff ?kafayet ullah were knowledgeable about the menu, offering good recommendations.
For starters, I tried the Garlic Bread with Mozzarella, which was warm, perfectly crispy on the edges, and loaded with gooey cheese. It was a great way to kick off the meal. As for the main, I opted for their classic Pollo ad Astra pizza. The thin crust was perfectly baked, and the combination of spicy chicken, peppers, and the subtle smokiness from the BBQ sauce made every bite flavorful. I did wish the pizza had a bit more of a kick, but it was still delicious overall.
One of the highlights was their extensive drink menu, which offered some great Italian wines and unique cocktails. The Peach Bellini was refreshing and paired well with the meal.
My only minor critique was that the pizza could have been a little hotter when it arrived at the table, and the wait time was a tad longer than expected, but nothing that detracted too much from the overall experience. For dessert, I went with the Chocolate Fudge Cake, and it was the perfect way to end the meal?rich, decadent, and the right balance of sweetness.
I left satisfied and would definitely return for another pizza night, especially given the reliable quality and variety on the menu. Pizza Express delivers on consistent flavors and a pleasant dining experience, making it a solid choice for pizza lovers.

Straightforward but well done. Staff were attentive, Piero especially and food and drinks, as ever, were fine. Nice little respite from the tedium of Oxford Street.
