We had a mortgage with masthaven and it came up for renewal. They fraudulently lied stating they were no longer doing mortgages and sold our fixed term mortgage to a credit agency. We are now stuck in a flexible rate credit agreement which isn't even a mortgage that goes up by 1% every month. We now worry we can't afford it because its increased by £500 a month in 5 months. If we knew this was going to happen we would never have gone with them. My husband has just struggled through cancer and now we have to deal with this ever increasing amount worrying we may loose our homeAVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE - DO NOT TRANSFER MONEY TO THIS BANK!! They offer a very high interest account. We registered but they sent us multiple passwords from noreply email accounts which did not work so highly likely we would lose our money when investing.

Pleasant people to talk to and that?s why they got a star had 50 k on deposit at the end of the term had to re apply as a new customer and like another review I could not verify my nominated bank account .I was having to put all the info in I put in a year ago .cant understand why I have to re apply and put in all the info they have already in file.got really frustrated and rang them for help only tho get An email wanting verified signature and address .rang today and the answer repeatedly was re apply and I explained I could not as it will not verify my bank details only option was to close the account and he happily explained the process very disappointed

Seem to not know what they are doing and come across like a scam! be very carful going to this company. We did our due diligence and decided to go for a mortgage through them. They took over three months checking everything to do with myself and the property. Paid for the survey and then declined the application based on the property, you would of think any mortgage company would check these things out prior to taking money. I own a 1930s apartment, they have wasted my time, don't provide a receipt for the money and refusing to repay me. NEVER AGAIN - Absolute crooks!!

Appallingly nasty bank. Our mortgage broker engaged them for a bridging loan based on the value of our house. They wanted us to put the house on the market when they said so and at 40,000 less than the going price in our area. We had several aggressive phone calls from a woman who never gave her name but said she was from Masthaven and everything would be recorded. Don't deal with them unless you are absolutely desperate. Fortunately, we are able to get the finance elsewhere. However, we have already paid 1,100 'legal costs' before they would even consider us.

Very straightforward process to open account. No problems encountered at all. I did not need to contact anyone for assistance so unable to comment at this stage on customer service.

Simple to set up account and includes plenty of security. Easy to transfer money in. I took the option of a one year Bond, so time will tell if its a good choice.
