Only adding our experience, other reviews describe the place.Food and drink were good - except the lobster rolls, which were basically a tiny hotdog bun with sauce and 3 bits of lobster, barely tasted it, if at all. I think the overall price is good for both; if for the fact that a rooftop in London, of that size, is not easy to find.We had a nice and sunny spring day, no shade unless you are at a booth, but some people enjoy this, so good atmosphere and setting. The bill for 2 people, having had about 2 snacks and 4 "mains", with 1 deink each, was 95 quid... mind you, there is Services charge itemized wmin the bill, 10 quid. The fact that it is above a John Lewis store in the heart of Oxford street is a really nice plus, but also a potential annoyance. We arrived at 2pm on a saturday, no line and available spots - we had reservations. We left around 4pm and a long line was forming inside the 5th floor of the deparment store isle.Dietary restrictions: We requested panceta out of salad, and it was granted. As well as cheese resteiction.

Ordered 2 drinks on a quiet Wednesday afternoon (bar about half full). We waited for over 40 minutes, whilst all the tables around us arrived, ordered and received their drinks, ours nowhere in sight! We tried to flag down a staff member several times but were ignored. Ultimately we left without having our drinks.

The ambiance is excellent, safe, family friendly, with a gorgeous view. However, I found the food menu to be somewhat lacking in variety.

A nice and beautiful restaurant and bar. The impeccable service at Willows on the roof only adds to the allure, with attentive staff ensuring that every need is met with warmth and efficiency. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a night of gastronomic delight, Willows on the roof promises an experience that transcends the ordinary, leaving you with memories to cherish long after the last course is savored.

It was nice and the price is really good. For a small dinner party with 4-6 persons can be fantastic. The server took 3 days to bring the bill, he was talking by phone and walking around..

This was an awful experience. We sat and had a lovely but over priced drink outside on the rooftop. When we came to pay the bill, it did not come despite requesting it. Eventually, my friend went inside to pay as we were in a hurry. The person serving accidentally made her pay the wrong table?s bill. He then couldn?t reverse it and asked her to pay her bill as well (hoping that he could reverse the other payment by the following day)! My friend was horrified but had no option but to pay. People were waiting and the server was getting impatient. Since 17th December my friend has left messages, emails etc and no one has called her back. She is still out of pocket. It is appalling treatment and we will never ever go back.

Such a cute atmosphere. The beetroot ravioli was insane! Would really recommend the small plates, good for veggies too.

I booked a reservation through the website for a special occasion, specifically requesting the festive menu and inside seating or a dome. Despite receiving confirmation via email, we were placed outside in the cold with no sign of the festive menu. Disappointingly, the limited menu consisted mainly of fried items and burgers. The rooftop views were not impressive, this establishment, although attached to JLP, is run by a third party. This can be misleading for those expecting the high standards of the JLP experience. My recommendation would be to save your money and opt for a nicer dining venue.

It was a nice experience and price wise, not too bad. However, it could be improved. They add an 'industry standard' service charge to your bill, allowing you to remove it if you are unhappy with their service. This is a bit cheeky. This put pressure on us to pay it, which I didn't like. The food was good but not outstanding. We had burgers and chips, which were served on tiny plates. No salad, either. We booked from 12-1.30pm. We werentballowed in on aarival at 11.50, we were told to wait until 12.00, so inevitably weren't seated at 12.00. At 12.55, when ordering our desserts, we were told we would have to leave in 25 minutes. This made us rush our desserts and drinks, so it was not a great end to our meal. The dome itself was nice, with a good heater which made it nice and cosy. If you are eating, be aware that you are eating off a low-level coffee table, and you are not sitting around a dining table, so it's a bit odd if you want to have a meal. There are no toilets at the restaurant (except disabled), you have to go downstairs and use the John Lewis toilets in the stairwell. All things considered, it was OK, and we enjoyed it, but it could have been much better with a bit of extra thought.

Very poorly organised, wait time was so long even though it wasn't that busy! Did not think it was very clean and saw poor hygiene particularly with the food prep! Would not go again!

Absolute chaos. We booked the winter hut for the evening for 8 of us and prior to arriving we were asked to pre-book all of our food from the festive menu. The menu itself really wasn?t very clear on price or what we?d receive but we managed fine. We then arrived and were told at least 40% of our choices from the menu that we?d pre-ordered weren?t available. A ?delivery? issue apparently so we were very understanding. However, then we weren?t given our drinks on arrival, we waited over an hour for our starters, the drinks ordering was all over the place, different people telling us different things, the ?main? was literally just a burger on a plate - no fries no salad no side nothing and the pudding was still frozen inside. It was utter chaos and very uncomfortable. We then received the bill which included a 12.5% service charge which we declined. We?d originally thought the price was reasonable but honestly for the service we got it absolutely wasn?t. Baring in mind our starters took over an hour, by the time we?d finished our pudding it was closing time. There was one server who tried to accommodate as best as she could which we appreciated but when we?d paid the bill someone else opened the door and literally barked at us to get out. The whole evening was utterly unbelievable. Would avoid at all costs.
