They have all the latest publications and a large array of chess sets on display and for sale. The team is friendly and welcoming. Chess players should make this a go to place to visit and support.

Stellar service that really went above and beyond?
I was ringing around trying to find a niche game I had played with my family in the US. Unfortunately, the shop didn?t offer this game, but rather than just say ?we don?t have it, bye?? the lovely gentleman took the time to find out more about the game and check inventories of other local shops, quickly pointing me in the right direction. A wonderful example of care and excellent service in a world where people are either too pressed for time to help, or don?t care to. Will definitely be visiting this shop soon to see their full offering.

Lush place! You can sit outside and play a game at the tables, no pressure to buy anything. Jun was very welcoming and friendly with us, also Marti/yn and the other workers (sorry, forgotten names). All chatty and full of recommendations for books etc. Also they're into astrology. Shop quite accessible, with chairs, open space, nice layout, LOTS of good books and beautiful sets.

Honestly one of the cooler stores to hit up while you're in London. I'm from the states and have a couple of plastic chess boards from some of the major suppliers here. I ended up picking up one of their weighted plastic sets and folding board and I'll be danged. Their weighted plastic is heavier than all of my US versions. The quality in their product is amazing and I plan on ordering all my future chess supplies through their online website.

Well a nice and cozy chess shop. I love it . I was not sure what I wanted to buy but I needed to be there anyways to be close to my beloved game. I gave them the suggestion to make chess related bookmarks :)
