Good in store visit to CEX, helpful staff advising on iPhone models - however phone I bought which had a good battery life (finally found one in CEX!) - had an error message that screen was not an authentic part or defective, and also had faulty screen brightness (could not view the screen outside at all even at max brightness). I feel misled and disappointed - it does not work properly and has adverse effects / is not functioning if you cannot view the screen. Not picked up in their 'testing', or when they were showing me the phone which they had to go into the settings of to check battery health. I wasted time and money travelling from out of London. Sick of CEX and their poor quality products - can't get a refund only credit note if you buy in store and have to bring back within 48 hours which is unreasonable. I wanted to buy on click and collect but couldn't as store closed in half an hour. I trusted them after an awful experience at another local CEX selling supposedly B grade phones with rubbish batteries below 80%, and feel duped. Their testing is defective if not picking up substandard brightness (tested in another store on return and faulty) / or they are repairing with low grade parts and not highlighting issues to people. Taking advantage of people that aren't technologically savvy in the hope most don't notice which they wont. A seriously degraded battery also means the phone will not function as it should - regardless what CEX decides their (low) standards are. If you are going to sell phones like this - at least be honest and make the customer aware of the issues and price accordingly. You can buy refurbished phones for less. If buying an iPhone, take it straight to an Apple Store to run proper tests.

Very pleasant shopping experience. I wanted an expensive item from one of the locked glass cabinets and was served by a very polite guy who passed me the item in question and let me examine it myself before i bought it. This was one of the most gracious things any CeX has ever done for me and I really appreciate being able to inspect the condition of the game and its contents before I purchased it. Impeccable service and highly recommended.

Great service and a wide selection of offerings within this store. Conveniently placed near Goodge street station, the staff are friendly and helpful and are willing to explain the logistics of each item. Loads of different CDs, films, games and latest tech offerings within the store.

No matter where you are a Cex will be close by. This one did not have the best selection, but trying again in a few weeks always reveals some rewards

I?ve been buying and selling with CEX for years, and it?s always been a top-notch experience. Their selection of second-hand games, DVDs, and electronics is amazing?there?s always something cool to find, and the prices are seriously good. Whether I?m trading in an old console or picking up a new game, the process is smooth and fair every time. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the store itself has a cool, techy vibe that makes browsing even more fun. Highly recommend for anyone looking to score a great deal or declutter some gear!

Bought a ps3 controller that was broken and wouldn't connect to my playstation. I then drove all the way to this cex to exchanged it for a new one. The new controller was an obvious fake but the worker said it was tested to work. Well.. it doesn't work as well. They sold me junk twice. Drove all the way there just to exchange broken plastic for more broken plastic. Thank you very much
