Fantastic restaurant and wine bar! I was really pleasantly impressed by the quality of the food and broad selection of wines. Thank you to Zoe who?s service was top class all evening - she was knowledgeable and charismatic and really elevated the experience. Will definitely go back !

I?ve come here for various chef residencies over the years and all of them have been disappointing so we won?t be returning. Service is very slow, food average (I suspect the chefs just don?t do as well in another kitchen?) and the place is very warm and loud with uncomfortable chairs.

We held our wedding reception here after getting married at The Fitzrovia Chapel in April 2025. Polly and all the team did an incredible job organising the event, from advising on the food and wine, decorating the venue, and finding us a great DJ (thank you Nanz!). Everything ran smoothly in the run-up and on the day and the resounding feedback from our guests was it was the best wedding food they'd ever have. We couldn't have had a better day - thank you! Went for the Mexican street food experience in May--the food was lovely and the wine was great (the matcha cocktail, not so much). The timing between courses was incredibly long though, and while each dish was fantastic, it meant it took over 2 hours between seating and paying which was a bit much. The experience was good to have once, but doubt it'll result in a repeat visit.

My second visit to Carousel for their guest chef series, this time for the South American inspired Insurgente menu and it was delicious. I think these guest menus are some of the best value for the high quality you get out there.

Went for the last night of Gorka?s residency - absolutely incredible food, service was friendly and attentive (wine pairing especially was done fantastically! Highly recommend), chefs and staff were all just lovely as ever, fantastic experience all round! ????

We went for lunch and were the only customers until two people came in 30 mins later.
The food was nice although I had chunks of bones in my pork dish. When I raised this with our waiter, he explained that the kitchen grind the meat themselves!
Free side dishes were given to the table next to us - which felt like blatant favouritism.
I would not recommend and will not go again.
