The optician was friendly and explained everything she did and found through the scans and tests. She was knowledgeable which gave me confidence that I was in safe hands. She was efficient and effective and prepared the letter for the doctor very quickly. I have never had an optician with all these qualities before over some 40 years!

All your at the Tottenham Court Road branch are extremely helpful and friendly. Most particularly the Doctor/ Optician has such a pleasant manner whilst efficiently carrying out the examination. She took time to talk through the scan explaining what the images on the screen meant which was most helpful and interesting. Altogether I left feeling that the whole experience had been very good and most encouraging.

I saw the optometrist at this Boots branch last week and I will not be going back. Never in my 80+ long life have I been treated with so much disrespect and impatience by anyone, let alone a customer-facing 'professional' whose everyday job involves tending to patients with various levels of visual and often (due to old age) hearing impairments. The optometrist was rolling her eyes while I was trying to answer her questions during the eye test, and rudely and abruptly interrupted me mid-sentence in order to press on with her examination. I am truly shocked that a respected company like Boots employs individuals with such poor manners and attitude. Disgraceful!
