I recently stopped by Barnardo's in George street. As always the shop looked pristine and now with a brand new shopfront sign it looks very inviting. It's the best charity shop I know where I can find from affordable everyday items to designer clothes at great discounts. The staff is magnificent. The manager is absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. I will definitely be stopping by more frequently as I find new things available on every visit. And to think it's all for a good cause it fills my heart ?

Definitely not the best Barnardo's I've been in. The prices are absolutely insane for a second hand shop, especially one from the Barnardo's chain which I have found is usually the cheapest. Would not return since there was barely anything good and I'm not willing to pay the high prices. The cheapest price I saw was between £6-£12.

A little expensive for a second hand shop. And be aware: They don?t actually allow you to exchange or return items :( I tried on a shirt I bought at home and it was very uncomfortable, and now I have just ?re-donated? it. The return/exchange policy is falsely advertised

Did a bit of volunteering here. It's a lovely shop, very friendly and supportive manager and staff. The donations are good quality, some designer, top brands. In a great location.

I find the staff very helpful and they have a wide selection of items from children?s clothes to kitchenware. Yes, maybe a little pricey for a charity shop but they do have a good selection of high end items. Look for a good bargain.
