I don?t usually write reviews but felt like I had to the lady who served me older lady was rude and unwelcoming also I ordered a matcha and when I drank it and came towards the end of my drink I four ants in it!!

A family stop for Coffee and breakfast on the way to Lords. Everything as you expect from Nero's. Service was excellent. 9/10

Wouldn?t normally comment on somewhere like this but I get a lot of take away coffees and staff always nice. It was 12pm on a Wednesday and the lady (older lady)behind counter was so rude! She came in from being outside presumably on a break and I said I did a mobile order she said ?WHAT? I repeated again and showed phone. She then got receipt the other younger proceeded to make my order I saw she missed out a syrup so I said I ordered pistachio and the other lady interrupted and said it?s not included rudely and I said I know I paid for it. Her attitude was horrible. I won?t be going back to this branch.

Rude and unhelpful staff who made you wait before serving so they could finish chatting. They made you feel like your business was a bother. From reading the other reviews, I suspect I have encountered the same female staff who have repeatedly treated their customers rudely.

I recently had a very unpleasant experience at Caffe Nero. While I generally appreciate the service here, one specific encounter left me deeply disappointed.
a. On my visit, I was feeling unwell and needed some time to gather myself before placing my order. Despite the shop being far from full with many empty seats in the front, middle and back, a particular staff member barista ? a slightly tall slim older Black female employee with bundled-up black hair ? displayed an unprofessional attitude towards me in the evening during her shift. Rather than offering understanding or patience, she seemed intent on pressuring and targeting me to leave, apparently in favor of giving my seat to a preferred customer or relation.
b. Her behavior felt personal and unwelcoming, which was both surprising and upsetting in what I otherwise considered a friendly establishment. It?s crucial for all employees, regardless of personal preferences, to maintain fairness and respect toward all patrons. Unfortunately, this interaction did not reflect that standard.
c. I hope the management will address this issue to ensure that all customers feel equally valued, respected, and treated with kindness, regardless of the circumstances.

Coffee wasn?t hot, the barista wasn?t very happy when I asked for a fresh cup. My coffee was re-heated as opposed to fresh. Not great and rather disappointing.

Service has improved over the last year or so, more staff and bettwr trained. Still endures people with laptops nursing a single coffee for hours on end at times, but not as many as a few months ago. Improving.
