Too expensive for a small pizza

This is a great to hang out and eat with kids after sightseeing the Globe, Tate Modern and St. Paul?s Cathedral. I was there with 4 kids who were a bit loud but we had a big table in the corner so did not disturb the other guests. The staff was super lovely, the blond lady was very understanding with the kids and made sure that our food came quickly. The kids had the spaghetti Bolognese and Margarita Pizza with mushrooms and they finished it all. The kids menu also comes with lots of raw veg as starters like cucumbers and carrots.

Food was fine, as you would expect from a large Italian chain.
Service was poor.
The app system is extremely slow and faulty. We split the bill and it showed as missing one persons payment, they paid again and were then charged twice.
We were reassured that this would be easily corrected with a phone call if it was the case. Now proving difficult to get a refund.
If you order from the 3 course menu, you cannot change your mind without paying for the full set menu anyway. Or at least the waiter made it very clear that would be too difficult.

Zizzi?s 50% off all mains is a perfect deal for students. A lovely pre-show meal, and as we had to leave at a certain time, the service was quick and the staff were friendly. I always enjoy my time and experience at Zizzi?s.

A very underrated restaurant in the heart of the City of London. The decor inside the restaurant is beautifully crafted and welcoming. My pizza came out wrong and a new pizza was made very shortly afterwards, and most importantly, not rushed to make up for the mistake. I?ve always thought it must be difficult to make a bad pizza, but having had quite a few bad pizzas, my confidence was shaken by the London pizza scene. Zizzi was able to revive that belief a little with a good pizza. The tiramisu was also a very good addition to the menu. Kudos to whoever thought to add it on because the recipe is exceptional.
