- Pasta was ok but all our dishes arrived really late- Waiter was unfriendly and didn't come over to update my group on how long the food would take- We ordered through the app but a service charge was still applied (what the hell for?)- No apology from our waiter for the food taking so long

Really slow service, food came separately so some of us didn't receive our food until after others had finished (and if they waited their food would have gotten cold), servers included a service charge despite us ordering on the app, and even after we had the service charge removed, they put a new tip onto the bill.

Food was great, no faults there. But the service was lacklustre. The waitress that served us felt like she didn?t want to be there and spoke to us with absolutely no enthusiasm whatsoever, as if she wanted to get out asap. We wanted to order more food but was told that the kitchen was already closed. They should have called last orders to let the customers know that the kitchen will be closing but there was no word of it. Disappointed.

The food was bad and they don?t accept cash which put as in a really though position as tourists who don?t have a UK bank card. Honestly if I could rate the UK overall I?d give it one star also (especially to London) for going cashless without caring about the tourists at all.

The service at this Zizzi was abysmal. We had made a reservation since it was a Friday evening and were given a very cold welcome upon arrival and led to a table squeezed next to another couple, despite the restaurant being nearly empty.It took around 20 minutes for them to ask if we would like to order any drinks and then a further 20 for the food order.Once the food did arrive, the pizza was lukewarm. We asked for some condiments for the fries, and were shocked to discover that we had been charged for these at the end, despite the waiter never mentioning it.For the remainder of our time there no staff came over to check how the food was or ask if we needed any more drinks. My partner had to order herself a drink via the app after failing to catch the waiters attention for a long time (he was too busy chatting away to his colleagues).After clearly being finished for over 25 minutes, we still had our empty plates and glasses cluttering the table and were not asked if we would like the bill. Again, clearly they want you to use the app. But paying on the app forces you to pay the ?discretionary? service charge, which after the service we received we certainly weren?t doing! So we had to go up to the bar to ask to pay, and take the service charge off, which the waitress seemed completely baffled about!Needless to say, I won?t be returning and to be honest, will likely not visit a Zizzi again!

We ordered the Bruschetta for our starter but what came was a soft ciabatta, which was under seasoned and came with tasteless tomatoes and a disgusting balsamic sauce. No pesto or garlic.We had the Margarita pizza which was tasteless and bland, no seasoning and we had to ask for chilli oil.The chocolate fudge cake was vile and tasted like the fridge it was stored in. Definitely frozen and defrosted.Our waiter was rude and obnoxious when we asked him to take our order as we could not order digitally as the table number was not being accepted.Don?t bother with this place and go to a real Italian!!

Really enjoyed an office lunch here. The food was great and everyone enjoyed it. Very much enjoyed the sausage and nduja lasagne that was on the specials.Wheelchair accessibility: There are lifts to get to the floor the restaurant is on and there is space to navigate a wheelchair in the restaurant.Didn't use the toilet facilities so cannot comment.

Very nice service and one I've always enjoyed going to but the service yesterday was terrible alongside the pizza which had a lack of meat within it.While everything has gone up in price, I was not expecting this much from Zizzi's which had previously been of a fairly good value. It was extremely overpriced.

I went to Zizzi for my work team Christmas lunch. It's an affordable casual dining spot for lunch or dinner with plenty of seating. It was pretty busy during December because of Christmas lunches, so the atmosphere was buzzing. I'd say the service wasn't consistently good. I could see that the front of house person was very professional and attentive, but the actual waitress who served us lacked customer service skills. She was not polite, attentive or knowledgeable on the food, she was also quite slow paced considering it was so busy.The food was ok. The set Christmas menu was incredibly affordable, but honestly the pasta was quite bland and they have a starter called Cheese bomb or something, and it was barely cheesy, and in fact just was a garlic bread. The prawns starter was nice and the desserts were great too.Overall I would only recommend it if you're looking for a standard meal that is not expensive.

We stopped by for a quick meal not expecting too much, I just wanted dessert soI tried the sticky toffee apple pudding, and it blew my mind! It is one of the best dessert I have ever tried (and I have tried lots) its was just perfect!
