If you need a prescription filled unlike Boots etc Walden will have it or quickly get it for you , yes they are expensive but superior service and availablity comes at a price .

OVERPRICED medicine!Last week I was charged 3.13 GBP per tablet (on a private prescription) whereas Boots charged me .40 GBP for the same. When I called to speak with the pharmacist about this 'mistake', she said that no, some stores, like John Lewis, charge more than others.OK, but charging me nearly 800% more than boots???Moreover, the lady was quite rude about it.RIP OFF!!!

Walden Chymist is a truly lovely Pharmacy . A family run business but what a wonderful family. Always kind and so helpful and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. When other pharmacies say ?not in stock? Walden usually has the item or will get it as soon as possible because they care. Exceptional, many thanks.

This is the best Pharmacy for miles, the staff are always willing to make things work out for the customer, they have a great knowledge of medicines and suppliments and the goods they stock that is truly amazing. The pharmacist, apart from being a lovely person, is my first call when I need knowledge of a medical or pharmacological nature. We dont utilise Pharmacists enough these days given the depth of their training and knowledge base.Truly a remarkable place and I endorse it with pride.Ken Muir

My doctor sent my prescription to this pharmacy which happens to be the closest to me. They gave me an alternative to what I always use, stating the one I use is branded and the name needs to be printed on the prescription, strangely I have been using this medication for 3years always with the same prescription and all other pharmacies give it with no question. However this pharmacy chose to give me a cheaper version and when I asked for the one I use they said it is expensive and the brand name should be printed on the prescription. I then told them I don't mind paying the difference. They gave it to me when I said this, after paying the difference to what they were originally going to give me while actually my prescription is free of charge! And never I pay for it elsewhere. Just, no comment.

Needed urgent paracetamol in suppositories as my daughter had high temperature and was rejecting the liquid version.They sold it to me for £28.50 for a pack of 10, saying it is so expensive because they are they only very few pharmacy sell it. THIS IS DISGUSTING! These people speculate on people health.
