Vivian of Holloway is my favorite online store, which luckily also has a shop in London. She has the most fabulous retro dresses, skirts, tops, and everything else for men and women. If you are into the Rockabilly style Vivian of Holloway, could just about be your one stop shop. I always believe you get what you pay for. She is pricey, but it doesn't stop me from still always buying. I can't wait to go to London to go to her shop .

Liv and Sophie are just the most amazing and uplifting girls ever. I walked in and they just looked after me completely. Within minutes of chatting Liv got to know my style and pulled out the most amazing dresses for me and helped me find the perfect size too! I left with 2 of the most amazing dresses and 2 broches. Both girls made me feel so welcome and comfortable just the most fabulous experience and I can't wait to go back! X thank you so much

I purchased a pencil skirt online and while it technically fits, the lining of the skirt is really weird and tight compared to the skirt?wonder if it was a defect. It is uncomfortable to walk up and down stairs and gives my butt a weird shape. For a company that highlights curvy figures and as a classic hourglass who measured carefully before ordering, it was really disappointing, especially since these clothes are not cheap and neither is shipping.

I love the style of vintage clothing, but Vivien of Holloway's customer service is awful. They hardly ever reply to emails, and even when they do, they're rude. Due to the customer service, I've refused to purchase any more items.

What an amazing experience I've had with Vivienne of Holloway. I originally ordered my dresses online having coveted their collection for some time but in my haste and admittedly vanity I ordered the wrong sizes, devastated I called the store and spoke to Tara who was reassuring and understanding. When I said I'd be coming in to London for a special occasion she invited me to bring my dresses in and she will order in the sizes I should have had. When I arrived Tara was just brilliant, she helped me try on my original choices and some others, she made me feel fabulous and I left with three dresses, two petticoats and a skirt. If I could I would buy all my dresses from Vivienne of Holloway, great quality, lovely selection great customer service and very very patient. Thanks Tara I really appreciated your time and encouragement, I had a great time you made my day very special. I got a lot of compliments at my besties party.

As a first time customer, I can definitely say Vivien of Holloway's Katharine trousers, pencil skirts and sweaters are excellent. I visited the shop in person and the customer assistants were so nice and helpful. Their glamorous style was so amazing too! I will definitely be back. Thank you :)

I purchased my wedding dress (Halterneck ivory lace dress, with underskirt and satin bolero) here for my recent wedding. Not only was the dress buying visit a fantastic day out - I think I tried on every combination of wedding wear available in the shop with feedback from Vivien and the staff (thanks lots!) - but the dress itself looked incredible. I got lots of compliments on the day and it is beautiful in the photos. Additionally (important to me!) it was very comfortable and easy to wear. As a person on the shorter side a full length dress was not for me - this midi style was exactly what I'd always hoped for. Photos to come.

I have been buying the 40s trousers for years. The last two I bought have been pilling horribly! I did t even wear them but two times and the pilling was so bad. I have an electric de-pillar and I have to use it non-stop. I have had these pants only 6 months.Did you buy cheaper material? It shows!!!

I ordered an item online, which I needed to exchange for another size, so I packaged it up and send it back with (expensive) tracked delivery as is requested in their returns information.Now granted, this is inside the UK Lockdown for the covid pandemic and some delays are to be expected, but after 2 weeks from Royal Mail delivering the item to them, I had not even recieved an email to say my return had been accepted by them. So, I politely emailed to enquire, they located my return and said they would process and dispatch it the next day. Ok cool, thought I, they probably were doing that anyway even I had not emailed them, 2 weeks is acceptable in the circumstances.Well 2 more weeks pass, no delivery arrives to me, I have also not received any further correspondence with a shipping date, tracking number, order number, nada. So I politely emailed again asking if they could give me any postal info, thinking it was held up by Royal Mail, but recieved an email back to inform me it still had not been sent, and again saying it would be done the next day. Although this email did use the word sorry, it was clearly an "oh sorry, not a big deal" And not "We sincerely apologise". To add to the lack of sincerity the email was laced with " :) " ... As a retail manager myself I was shocked by this blasé reaction, I mean this company recieved my request to exchange 35 days prior to this email, more than a month! I would have thought that might warrent some more meaningful gesture.I'm not normally a complaints person, I know personally how moodkilling it is to deal with a complaint about your services, but I couldn't let that lie so I responded to the email with my complaint.That was 4 days ago I have received no response to my complaint.Frankly I am shocked. I dress in and buy vintage/vintage repro clothes and a having seen many other vintage gals wearing Vivien of Holloway I had finally found an item I wanted available in a size to (hopefully) fit me and this is the service I have experienced? I honestly expect much better from any retailer, never mind one with such a high reputation.

What a fantastic shop! The staff are always warm and welcoming. If something isn't working, they find alternatives for you. For vintage clothing lovers, this is the place for you!
