It was alright ? the service was lovely, but food was definitely more showy/ for instagram. I think the interior definitely needs a refurb.
I wouldn?t go back again, just because I think that for this price, at least the interior should be nice and look clean.
Service was incredible though and easily made the whole experience!

August 2025:
I just saw it and walked in. No seat was available inside so I took the one outside. Which is not really a proper seating. But I was alone so I didn't mind.
I ordered Americano, Taco pancake and Focaccia.
Americano arrived first and it was horrible. Extremely bitter and acidic.
The service was slow so I had to wait for someone to come. Finally the lady came and I asked her to replace it with freshly squeezed orange juice.
It arrived in minutes. But she did not take the coffee back and neither did anyone else. So I had to wait again to get someone to take the bad coffee back.
Well...as I said the service is slow. I had to wait 30 mins for the food (pancake and Focaccia).
The taco pancakes looked very fancy but not as flavourful. I would rate them 2/5.
Focaccia also tased average. It had chopped tomatoes and onions. Onion was really pungent.
I paide £32~ for the 3 items. When the bill came, Americano was added to the bill and I had to explain to the service boy the whole thing.
The food looked good and is highly expensive BUT has below average taste.
Would not be visiting again.

Absolutely amazing food and cocktails here. The staff were amazing and helped recommend dishes. Especially Julia, she went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. The decoration of the restaurant is beautiful it's perfect for pic's with your loved ones, friends and family ?? thank you for a wonderful experience. We are heading back now for breakfast ?

We came here for breakfast and asked if they could make avocado on toast, even though it wasn?t on the menu. They kindly agreed, and we ordered avocado toast along with scrambled eggs.
Unfortunately, the wait for the food was very long, especially considering it was just these two simple dishes. When the plates arrived, the presentation was plain and didn?t really feel like café or restaurant quality.
The scrambled eggs were fine, but the avocado toast was very disappointing. The avocado had a strange, sour taste ? as though it wasn?t fresh ? even though it looked okay. Both toasts had the same issue, and I couldn?t eat mine beyond a single bite.
What was also disappointing is that no one checked in to ask if everything was okay with the food, even though it was clear that I left almost the entire plate untouched. Staff were polite, but the service didn?t feel very attentive or sincere.
Overall, it was a real shame because while the staff were willing to accommodate our request, the food itself was poor and the experience wasn?t enjoyable.

Advertised price is one thing then the actual charge is much more. $40/person online, $50/person at check out. Plus 12.5% service charge, plus gratitity.
The server made it right though. So we ended up paying what we thought we would.
Please is very cute and good atmosphere, enjoyable other than the false price advertising at the end.

Staff purposely contaminated my friends meal woth non halal meat after asking if they can make sure her meal will be halal friendly. Staff member called Julia went silent once confronted.

Afternoon tea
Highlights -
savouries were tasty and substantial.
Scones were a decent size and there were 2 although all fruit and not the mixture advertised.
Cakes were tasty and although literally only a mouthful that was fine after the rest of the menu.
Lowlights-
£40 if you book ahead but the £20 deposit put us off booking. We hadnt realised it was £50 if you walk in. It was nearly empty when we turned up so I would suggest standing outside and booking before entering to save yourself 20%!
Only one pot of tea (2 cups) with one refill of hot water. This is incredibly stingy for a £50 afternoon tea. What does a tea bag cost!!

The food was quite good overall, with dishes that were nicely prepared and enjoyable to eat. While the quality was satisfying, I did feel that the prices were a bit on the high side for what was offered. That said, the location truly stood out ? it?s a beautiful spot with a great atmosphere, which definitely adds to the overall experience. If you?re looking for a place where setting and ambiance are just as important as the food, this is definitely worth a visit.

Found this little gem while visiting with family from America a few weeks ago, definitely worth the visit!! The interior decor is absolutely gorgeous ?. The food was spectacular and our waitress, Lubima, was just the sweetest!! Made my family and I feel very welcomed and well taken care of, her service was just wonderful. We all feel grateful for having such a lovely waitress during our visit?unfortunately, we were a bit skeptical initially upon seeing the other reviews about the rude service. The other servers I noticed when we were dining seemed a bit inattentive to customers and unpleasant. I don't usually write reviews, but our own experience with Lubima was just so very sweet and full of smiles ?? the food was lovely! ?

Very average place with very average food. It's a decent enough spot to sit but it's mostly an aesthetic Instagram restaurant rather than somewhere to go for good food. Service wasn't great - overall a little underwhelming
