The most backwards online banking process and saving accounts that I have seen. I had a fixed account that matured into a Matured Funds account. The money in the Matured Funds account cannot be transferred out to anywhere apart from another internal account. So I thought, I should transfer to an Easy Saver account then transfer the money out then. Nope! Easy Saver account cannot transfer money out either! The only way is to open a new current account, which I don't need and will never use. Ok, let's try that.I filled out forms until the very end only to find out that the new current account would be open under a new online banking account, which would then take further **10 WORKING DAYS** to be merged into my existing online banking account. Other banks that I use can open a new account right in the app and display immediately!Fine, let me call the customer service team. They didn't have any better options apart from telling me go to a branch, which only opens during my working hours. The branch will be able to help me order a cheque, which will be sent through to me by post! I worked for a bank 10 years ago and my bank could issue a cheque on the day. TSB cannot do that?Alternatively, I could call a telephone number to this particular team, who should be able to order me a cheque on the phone and send it through the post, and you guess it, the line is only open from 9AM - 5PM, during my working hours. It was all fine and well when they took my money through bank transfer from another bank. Yet, there is no option to transfer the money out, and make customers jump through hoops to get access to their own money.Get with the time and technology TSB!

Walking passed ATM belonging to TSB in Exmouth which was bleeping and observed a wad of monies hanging out of ATM. Straight away I took it into the TSB bank where staff appeared unsure of what to do. At no time was there any acknowledgement of my honesty. After many attempts trying to contact TSB spoke to a gentleman with regard to seeing if it had been claimed. He was very blase about everything and began to lecturer me about conscience , when asked not to lecturer me about this he put the phone down.I am very sad that the TSB conducts business without any social niceties .

Have been their loyal customer for a whopping 11 years and hadn't had a single issue until recently. Out of a sudden, they closed my account without any further notice. Didnt have access to my money for a few months. I kept reaching out to them by asking to provide a reason as to why they took such action and in response got a following message: 'Thank you for asking us to close your account'. Later on, they?d refused to reopen it. Was forced to open an account elsewhere. Completely shocking & outrageous service. AVOID BY ANY MEANS

i opened initially 4 accounts, 2 in my name, 1 joint, and 1 in husbands. My husband insisted that i close the acc in his name as the service was appalling. 4 years ago he died and i found that all interest was being credited to his account (supposedly closed). I reopened probate and included it. from then on, I have received no interest. I am told that you no longer pay it. I was not informed and am furious at this sharp practice. Apparently, I should have been told.THIS IS QUITE DISGRACEFUL AND WORTHY OF ANYONE IN H M PRISONS

As Executor, I made a large transaction to discharge a mortgage. They abruptly blocked my account without notice or any queries so I could not access my own money or pay my bills, obviously suspecting me of money laundering. They demanded I supply a bank statement to prove my source of funds, which I promptly supplied the same day, yet despite receiving this, continue to keep me in limbo despite now having no grounds to keep my account frozen. They also kept me on the phone for a total of over 4 hours over several fruitless calls and still failed to provide me with any update, telling me to call them back yet again. They refused to call me back or contact me to avoid further inconveniencing me though at this point I had shown no wrongdoing on my part. I understand all banks must comply with POCA legislation but it is inexcusable that TSB have treated, a law-abiding customer and hard-working professional, like a criminal, unapologetically without impunity even when shown to have no grounds for suspicion.Appalling treatment from a bank I have been loyal to for over a decade. Leaving.

There is a charity tuck shop in the office. Everything for 50p. All for a good cause.
