We have a very pleasant experience!! Location, cleanliness, amenities, size of the room. The only complaint would be the shower water - could have been just a bit warmer and greater

Lovely room, breakfast was very good. Choice of cereals yoghurt and fruits . Traditional English breakfast buffet style bacon sausages eggs beans mushrooms, etc. Very odd value.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I stayed there for a week during my business trip. Considering London prices, Travelodge Central City Road is a very normal accommodation option. Comfortable bed, kettle, an ok breakfast. The window of my room was viewing the street but it wasn't noisy at night. The room could be cleaned more often, though. To sum up, I can recommend this hotel.

Ascetic bathroom was compensated by a very comfy bed and 12pm checkout that came really handy, that extra hour does make difference. Recommend

I see from other reviews that guests have mentioned bed bugs. I stayed 2 nights and bites appeared on the morning of day 2 so likely they were from the room in this hotel. I had the window open but it was cold in February so unlikely that something flew in and bit me. I had about 7 or 8 very itchy bites around my head, neck and arms. I know this is a hard problem to control, but when you pay £100+ per night, you expect better. On the plus side, the shower was great. What a shame the bed is infested.

Stayed one night, mid-week, for work purposes. Location was good for what I needed.Room was booked as a double but was set up as a family room - two small camp beds set up as a double next to the main double bed. No major issues with that except it made the room a bit snug, though as I wasn't there for long. I had to climb over a bed to open and close the window and curtains.Room was overlooked by an office that was very close, so the curtains were closed for the duration of my stay. The room was uncomfortably warm on arrival, I had to open the window as well as turn off the heater. One of the mugs was dirty but as 4 had been set up due to the family room, it wasn't a problem on my stay.

Stayed here whilst I had an evening theatre trip to the Barbican . It was really handy being only a 10 min walk away with lots of food places nearby. The Tesco extra next door to it is also super handy for snacks or drinks. We had a super room and it was really pleasant - clean and a large empty space. The unlimited breakfast in the morning is definitely worth it- lots to choose from and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Clean and nice. The room was small and you have to ask for your towels to be changed daily and trash to be taken out. Apart from that, everything was good. Great location and close to bus stops and metros.

We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful Kingsley. The room was excellent, very quiet, looking down into the dining room. Spotlessly clean. Good location for the Barbican. Breakfast was excellent, didn't need any more to eat until tea time. All the staff in the dining room were friendly. The staff clearing the tables were charming and very efficient. Gladly stay here again.
