Dont fall for it just for location. By far one the worst hotels I ever stayed. Smell in the building is awful, rooms are dirty, you dont want to put your bare foot on the carpet which is filthy. Sound insulation is non existent, it feels like you sleep outside the street, bathroom no comment. Avoid at all cost and respect yourself spending 20£ for way nicer place. (Btw considering the price and what you get is not that cheap)

I arrived early to drop bag and go out for lunch. No luggage store!! I have never heard of this - even in airbnb. The lady who was behind the desk was so unhelpful. She said I could pay for an early check in so I asked if the room was ready. She said it was. I asked why I would then have to pay for the check in. 20 yearsI have worked in hotels - you pay for the early check in so your room can be prioritised. On this occasion, the room was ready so no extra effort needed. She also said the computer system would not allow her to check me in before 3pm. Really bad customer service.
We then proceeded to have no sleep for 2 nights due to the heat. Curtains in the room not fit for purpose as they did not block the sun and no air conditioning when it is generally 25-30 degrees in London in the summer!
To note - other than the original lady on Reception, everyone else we spoke to were lovely.
The room was not cheap so I would expect at least a comfortable nights sleep.

An old hotel building located after a covered alley, we got allocated in room 104 which is 1 up from the hotel entrance, the room 1 to our right looked like it had a balcony. Opposite the hotel and in our view is a bar, inside the white wooden building and becomes lively at night, they put tables and chairs outside for customers.

Dirty, basic, no air con, make you pay for WIFI. Not that cheap, pay a bit extra and get a room with a company that knows it is 2025.

I get that it's cheap but..... Don't do it!
Maybe there's better rooms than I ended up with but it was terrible for me. Next to the noisy lifts, hot and stuffy, club outside being loud until after 2am very basic room, furniture very worn. The worst part however was the bathroom. Sheet vinyl floor with only a curtain between the toilet and the shower, tiny hand basin sink pretty much in your lap on the loo and the vent was broken so it was very damp and smelly. It smelled worse than a state care home, like mold and old urine.
Respect yourself enough to spend £20 more and get a real hotel.

All the basics ticked, good bed, tea / coffee, tv, on suite, but:
on top of a series of noisy bars and resteraunts
open the tap in the bathroom too much, and it swills onto the floor!
breakfast is a box from reception.
I would stay again.

Location: down the middle of a weird alley.
Rooms: small, but was downgraded.
Service: accepted a corporate booking for a king-size room and was downgraded to a superior single. This was not superior in the slightest and the reason was that the other rooms had broken beds and leaking ceilings. I was told I have to call customer service to get a refund.
Genuinely may have been the poorest experience ive ever had booking through work for a room which was 169 for the night.
Shame on this room, shame on this hotel and shame on travelodge.

BED BUGS! at first glance it looked good. the house keepers definitely do a good job. they have beautifully made beds, folded towels and toilet paper it looked stunning and everything that could be cleaned was! all tables and surfaces and the cups. they are not at fault. THERE ARE BED BUGS! my friend found one in her bed. they offered her a 50% off her next stay in compensation which i don?t think is acceptable, maybe it?s policy? It was on her bed and very large. this issue wasn?t handled properly and i?ve seen other reviews that are similar. i think i got lucky but even then i have a new bite so im not so sure. please do stay somewhere else or if not thoroughly check your bed and search up how to do it properly. the room was also very hot with no air con but they provided a nice fan. not an issue for me but might be for others

I have not actually stayed here , i was booked for September 2rooms 2nights 4persons
With whats going on in london ( england) i wanted to know if migrants were staying in the TL city bank , because i was concerned for my family's safety, i asked a simple question to who was on reception , she replied ? i?m am a legal migrant of 20 years in this country? i said im happy with that and your welcome , are there any iligal migrants staying in you hotel ? She did not give me a satisfactory answer , so feeling unsafe for my family i have canceled my booking and gone to another who answered my questio with a straight ?No there isnt any in this hotel ?

Awful hotel, what other hotels in London don?t have a bag drop off service, we had to pay an early check in upgrade to just put the bag in a safe place as we were going to a concert in Hyde Park and you couldn?t take a bag in , ridiculous!!
The room was crazy warm and the fan that was on did not even throw out any air at all so was obviously faulty, the bathroom was filthy with mud in the corners and the shower hot and cold control was broken so no instant way of knowing which was hot or cold!!
The location was great but don?t fall into the trap of dropping off your bag as you can?t .

I stayed here a few weeks ago and I'll tell you something - it definitely isn't the 5 star reviews that are being posted. Check them out - you'll see they're all new subscribers to tripadvisor and for most of them, it's their first and only review so far. Amazingly, they all loved the place so much they just had to create a tripadvisor account to leave their only review!
Sorry Travelodge team, you're going to have to do better than that. I won't be back anytime soon either because I value honesty in reviews/people.

This is the worst, £225 overnight for an attic box room , no air conditioning, the room temp reached 35 degrees, that's actually a health and safety violation. Absolute nightmare hotel
