***Mouse in bedroom***** Stayed overnight on business. Lobby, restaurant and reception clearly recently renovated and very welcoming. The same cannot be said about the rooms/rest of the hotel. As you step towards the bedrooms, everything is old and filthy! Work up at 5am with a mouse scurrying at my bedroom door. I stayed in Room 264 on the second floor. Informed receptionist who clearly wasn?t surprised. If you search through other reviews of mice/rats in rooms on here you understand why. No other rooms available so had to leave the hotel and arrange for an earlier train which cost me over £130 to change as had nowhere to go at that time of the morning. Customer service since has been SHOCKING with no compensation offered or apology, just directed to an online customer services form. Travelodge should be ashamed of themselves!!!

Nice hotel, rooms reasonably clean, could have done with a carpet clean and the bathtaps and underside of bath handles and toilet deep cleaned. Mattresses were very firm, bedding good quality duvet and pillows. Good facilities for a basic stay. Food in bar area was OK frozen reheated chicken but nice side salad. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location for train station.

Great stay here , staff very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and quiet. Great breakfast all freshly cooked and hot . Complimentary breakfast given by receptionist Jackie as she asked why we were visiting, told her for anniversary gift of a river cruise ?, would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

This is a travelodge, therefore you get what you pay for. We were going to Paris for a few days and needed to stay over in London for one night. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was clean. There were coffee making facilities, towels, and toiletries provided, and if you required an iron or hairdryer, the staff on the reception were always ready to assist. We also had dinner there. It was a basic menu, but the food was nice and the eating area was clean. I can not praise the staff highly enough, from the reception staff to the bar and serving staff. The travelodge is also within a 10 minute walk from St Pancras and King's Cross stations.

Budget friendly accommodation, sufficient for an overnight. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast and on-sight restaurant is great. Good surrounding restaurants and sights to explore. Wifi should be included in full though, 30mins daily is not sufficient, you pay £3.50 for 24hrs of wifi.

So what can I say, Arrived on the 6th September for 2 nights into London at 11am we thought we?d go straight to the hotel as we?d selected early check in, to find out on arrival it had never gone on and couldn?t take any more after repeatedly showing an email, so couldn?t check in until 3pm the woman at the time wasn?t the most pleasant either, the room is extremely small, bathroom you have to go to the loo with the door open so you don?t feel like you?re trapped in a small space, room was dirty, units covered in dust a thick layer on the wardrobes and the top of the tv as well as the windowsill.
Wouldn?t be staying here again. Not as advertised to be a new design, dust on the blue walls paint peeling in the bathroom also and the corner edges covered in grime, to was the size of a old 90?s computer screen, the carpets smelt.
The only good comment to come out of this stay in the hotel was Richard who works in the kitchen team, that man deserves a raise, he is one of the most polite and attentive workers I have met, his smile, his persona really makes you at ease and he genuinely give all to his job.

Was unfortunate to stay here, the place is in desperate need of a refurbishment. The corridors in this hotel are really awful with missing paint, holes in skirtings and generally depressing. The room was slightly better but again badly decorated especially the bathroom which had missing plaster, holes to skirting board, screws showing and was extremely small ( never mind a cat you'd have trouble swinging a mouse), I could touch both walls.
We also made a mistake ordering the prepaid evening meal, I ordered 2 meals at the same time and received one and was told the other would not be long, after 20 minutes I enquired for the other meal and was informed the computer had not sent it to the kitchen, this eventually arrived half an hour later, we refused the dessert as we could not eat it due to the annoyance of the timing.
I complained and was offered an E voucher for another stay, I reluctantly had to decline this offer. I was not offered any other resolution.

Nice quality cheap hotel. For £50 I can't complain as it is exactly what I paid for

Travel agency booked a double room with bath for me. The receptionist gave me a family room with 4 beds instead. Did not work to explain one person does not need 4 beds and 4 towels. Did not occur to receptionist that washing bedding and towels for 4 people is not economical while guest is a solo. Mobile charger portals were not working. Hair dryer was faulty and when turned on I heard burning smell. The soap container felt down was empty. This is a minus one star hotel. And I was charged 188£ for this sub standard hotel.

I had a really good stay here. The hotel is quite basic, but in the best way ? clean, comfortable, and with everything you really need. The staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming, which added to the great atmosphere.
The reception area is nicely decorated and feels inviting. Breakfast was okay ? it could use a bit more variety, but the pancakes were definitely a highlight.
The only downside was that the rooms get quite warm. A fan is provided, but it didn?t make much difference. It was still manageable during my stay, though I imagine it might be uncomfortable in hotter weather.
Overall, a pleasant and comfortable place to stay with great service and a welcoming vibe.
