Been here a few times in the past year and always enjoyed.
However, visited today and was charged £9.95 for a takeaway jerk chicken ciabatta. Not sure if there has been a recent price increase, but at that price it is not worth it, despite sandwich being tasty.

Over £8 for a baguette with filling, I had expectations, but they weren't to be served one of those "part baked" ones you see in shops that's meant to be baked before eating....
....However it wasn't baked, and as such it was awful as you can imagine, a half cooked doughy mess that crumbled upon first bite spilling its filling everywhere.
Oh well, my lesson learned, there are way too many alternatives on Orford Road for me to return here.

Can?t go wrong! Brie and cranberry baguette was a dream. Great little local spot.

i?ve lived in walthamstow for years and today thought i?d finally pop in to grab a quick lunch bite. the staff were friendly and helpful. however slightly horrified to then find out the overly simple baguette i?d ordered (part my fault - i panicked in a state of hunger and in doing so picked the world?s most boring fillings of just plain chicken and salad) would be £7.50! even more horrified to find out when opening it at home to find out its very clearly one of those pre half-baked baguettes - that (let alone it not even being fresh bread) doesn?t even seem to have had its second 1/2 bake and so soft and stale). a shame as very up for supporting local and their cakes looked incredible.

I noticed this nice little bakery when i was passing through walthamstow village on Friday 26 April 2024 I could see through the front windows that they had a very large selection of hot beverages and ? cakes etc and at very reasonable prices I opted for a cappuccino and a lemon sponge cake wish I had taken some photos the coffee was spot on and the lemon sponge cake first class ??? service was very friendly with in and outside seating i would highly recommend paying them a visit i will be going back again next week.

Comfortable, petite and welcoming with two wonderful friendly and responsive ladies providing all your refreshments needs.
All food is home made and delicious.
I recommend a visit.

Worst bagel I?ve ever had in my life. Dry, barely toasted, with a few processed pack-bought chicken slices and unseasoned sliced avocado just chucked on top. No seasoning at all, no butter or cream cheese. Absolutely awful. Advertised as ?Brick Lane Bagel? too which is laughable. Will not be going back, do not recommend.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE coffee (and I'm not a coffee snob). Couldn't finish it. For the price there are places in a very short walking distance offering FAR better coffee for the same price.

First time I visited the cafe I was presently surprised at the choice of foods, the prices and Sam (the owner) who was warm and welcoming.
I've since been a few times either eating there or taking food away. Very good portions and always nice to have a quick chat. A few of my friends have been and enjoy the food there too.
I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who hasn't yet been.

Came into here today the barmaids came across as disrespectful towards me . I am special needs to some degree and behaved to me as i was harassing them in some way by being there. Never felt welcome at all
