My recent experience to the restaurant was not great at all.
I came after a long flight to eat lunch and order only main course basic food. (Photo) It took almost 1 hour to prepare a burger, some fish and chips and some mexican food. (We were the only ones at the restaurant!!!)
Not only was very expensive for the portion of the food they were extremely late. At first I thought I ordered a kids burger.
The atmosphere was nice, and staff polite.
*The Bar at night we ordered 1 tea and 2 cold chocolates and came in 30 minutes.

Simply a terrible unpleasant experience overall. Worst burger and Cesar salad you could possibly have. Also ordered Americanos and they give you drip cheap coffee. The size of the Cesar salad is ridiculous. DO NOT go here.

Went for an afternoon tea. Was initially told they weren?t serving them and then discovered we hadn?t been given the seasonal menu.
Ordered the festive afternoon tea. When everything was delivered, our server didn?t bring us plates. When we called her back she was grumpy and clearly had a cold.
The sandwiches were pitifully small, even for a high tea. The strawberry cream cake was still frozen. Everything else was okay, but nothing special. I doubt much of it was handmade in the restaurant. The rest of the staff were pleasant and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. But if you?re looking for a traditional afternoon tea, this isn?t a great representation and is quite expensive - £90 for two people for tea, 3 small sandwiches, 4 scones, 2 tiny mince pies, 2 macarons, 2 (frozen) strawberry and cream cakes, 2 cupcakes, and a slice of sticky toffee pudding.

I?m a tour guide, I brought my group here yesterday to eat as they reserved a table. Everything was fine till the end, the manager or whoever took our payment was so rude. The group I came with didn?t know about service charge, so they didn?t calculate their payments with that, and they had cash, instead of letting them understand it and let me explain it, he complained and said we were ?an inconvenience?. He kept saying it over and over, how much of an inconvenience these highschool girls were, who didn?t understand what he was saying. Saying they were an inconvenience to him, the other customers, the staff etc, all because he didn?t want to handle their cash payments, but it?s not card only?? I?m a waitress, I would never act the way he did. In the end he pretended to be nice and make small talk, all in the meanwhile they didn?t realise how rude he had been to them. Saying they ?should?ve known? about service charge and he didn?t even try to hide his annoyed face. Everyone else was nice, for such a nice place to eat and the price you pay, you sort of expect better service, or not complete rudeness out loud infront of everyone else in the restaurant. I felt so offended and upset for my tour group who were so excited for a proper British tea experience.

Nice venue and attentive and friendly staff, but the food is nothing to write home about. It can be eaten but is not an immediate pleasure. It should have been cheaper for what you got.

The service is good, the waitresses are very attentive and helpful but the food is not the same, frozen product for example the squid are frozen and the potatoes the same, the sirloin was pure charcoal, one thing is a little more than the point and another charred, In my case I went with the fork and I didn't pay anything luckily it was free but it's a place I wouldn't repeat

Le restaurant et l?hôtel sont très beaux et chics, là dessus rien à dire.Par contre, en ce qui concerne le service, il est très long bien qu?il n?y ai personne.Aussi, la nourriture laisse à désirer, je ne recommande pas. Les légumes ne sont pas frais, les frites sont congelées, la viande n?est pas bonne.Nous avons toutes les deux retrouvé des moucherons dans nos boissons.
