Fine dining & fine clubbing

Im editing my review because I genuinely think the hostesses that manage the club have the biggest egos and think they are on top of the world. They speak to you like you like a literal child. They think because they work at a club that they are therefore allowed to be so rude towards everyone and I know for a fact multiple people have said the same thing about them. Get off of your high horse and realise you literally work at the door of a club not the bloody met gala!
RESTAURANT REVIEW: I had a great time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was super cool, it was sort of an immersive experience with unique music. It was dimly lit and we did the override experience which entailed a set menu of Indonesian tasting. The food was really good, but I don?t think filling enough. I really liked the salmon curry and rice dish. The cocktails were great and the staff were very accomodating. Then afterwards it turns into a club downstairs which is super fun and can definitely result in a super late night. I would recommend on popular nights like Friday and Saturday to book for dinner or come early when the club opens to avoid waiting in line because there have been nights where I?ve waited 1+ hrs to get into the club.

We arrived at 9 o?clock and we didn?t get food until 11. The food was horrendous. Tiny portions and tasteless.

My friends and I (5 in total) went for dinner last night to try John Javier?s gastronomical pop up. We all love the sensorial experience - the delicious food is both a feast to your mouth than it is to your eyes - the DJ is making sure it is to your ears too. LP is a place to loosen up and be yourself - you eat, dance and love. Do dress up though or wear whatever makes you feel beautiful as it is part of the journey. The service was amazing, caring and cool (in a very warm way!). Of course we will be back ????

We were a table of 5, the waiter kept saying how lovely and polite we were, very gracious answering our questions and checking that everything was okay ?

Oof.. There are places you stumble upon that feel like a well-kept secret?intimate, effortlessly cool, and almost too good to share. This little gem is exactly that. Tucked away in an unassuming spot, it offers an experience that feels personal from the moment you step inside. The space is cozy yet stylish, with an interior that has its own unique character?one of those details best appreciated in person.
The sound system? Impeccable. The music selection? A dream for those who know. It?s the kind of sets an industry veteran would nod in approval to, cutting-edge yet perfectly tuned to the atmosphere. And then there was the food?crafted by a guest chef from Indonesia, each dish was a delight, rich with flavors that linger just long enough.
But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. From the first interaction, it feels like reconnecting with old friends?genuine, warm.
I could go on, but some things are best discovered firsthand. This is one of those places.

Looks like this place has a real mix of experiences. The atmosphere was very different but the food and drink was very poor. 2 of the 6 cocktails and 1 of the 2 beers weren't available, and the cocktail a few of us had (Koko) was way too heavy on the campari.
I had the vegan dishes (our group had a set menu) and on the whole it was really dissapointing as quite a few of my dishes were the same as the meateaters but just no meat (therefore were all lacking any protein).
For example: omnis got mushrooms / chicken wings / wagyu beef as starters, I got mushrooms and a side salad - how is that fair to charge the same price.
As one of the mains came out for tjem which was a plate ladened with pork, I got rice noodles in a completely inedible sauce that had so much of an aniseed ingredient (tarragon?) it made my mouth completely numb. The others didn't believe me and after trying my dish completely agreed.
Also they announced the chicken dish whilst serving me my plate which obviously caused confusion, and attempted to serve me egg noodles which I pointed out is not vegan (which was then corrected by the chef as rice noodles).
Overall, I felt very ripped off paying the same price for my set menu which was essentially the same as the omni's minus the expensive protein bits.

Absolute definition of an insta restaurant. Food was good but didn't match the price. Head waiter was snobby at best. Table next to us sent back food and left early. Wish we'd done the same.

Very disappointed.
The waiter we had was incredibly rude and had utter disdain for the entire situation, especially when we dared to order the lowest priced red wine on the menu which was £50. The food was good but overpriced for what it was and every portion despite dishes charged at £40+ were quite small. The lighting was good but 4 people squashed onto a tiny people listening to a couple play guitar and flute ...the atmosphere wasn't there and nothing made this special or seemed to make an effort. The table next to us left early and did not complete their meal, probably for similar reasons why we were so disappointed.

If you?re looking for something different, intimate, spacey, dim light, and full of vibes, this spot is 10/10. Definitely not your standard restaurant experience, though, so go somewhere else if you want a predictable normal night.
The dishes are interesting with novel flavor combinations, plus some excellently executed standards. I *highly* recommend the cacio e pepe - by far our favorite cross over dish - as well as the trout and wagu.
The drinks were spirit forward, excellent quality, and helped calm the tingling spice of the sichuan wings.
My only critique is that our server overestimated the number of dishes we should order. But in the end, that just meant we tried loads of dishes and left super satisfied.
Lastly, I see some reviews saying The Tent is too expensive or the servings are small. That?s BS.
